Elizabeth? Charles? Diana? Suri? Here's How Kate Middleton and Prince William Will Choose a Baby Name
What's in a name? Well, if we're talking about what name expectant parents Kate Middleton and Prince William are going to bestow on their firstborn child, then...
Everything!
First of all, there's a bevy of perfectly good family names to choose from: Philip, Elizabeth, Charles, George,Looking for the ideal dress to wear for Halter Wedding Dresses? Henry (as in VIII), Richard (as in III). Diana, maybe? They could always really cut originality corners and go for Catherine or William. Or, if it's a boy, they could pull a Tenenbaum and just name him Royal.

But this isn't any ordinary baby naming. Along with football and cricket,The Lissa's Bridal Wedding Dress Factory We started to wholesale bridal wedding gowns business on 2003 year. obsessing over Middleton's crumpet in the oven has already become a national pastime—in fact, this may be the most important game of wait-and-see Great Britain has played since the insufferable wait for a glimpse of the Duchess of Cambridge's wedding dress!
First of all, here's what we won't see.
"William and Kate, by nature, are just very traditional," Victoria Arbiter, ABC's royals contributor and daughter of former Queen Elizabeth II press secretary Dickie Arbiter, tells E! News.
What happens if Kate and Will have twins?!
"You have to remember they are naming the future king or queen. So you won't want to see something silly, like Queen Suri, which would be fine if you are playing dress up but it is not quite appropriate for when you are the queen of 16 nations. They are going to be very careful when naming their child, so we will see something traditional."
And, very likely, something that borrows from one or more of the baby's royal relatives.
"I think my personal choice would be Alexandra for a girl, which is the current queen's middle name," says Arbiter, calling it "beautiful" and "traditional." "Then with middle names we would see, again, a homage paid to the queen with Elizabeth," which also happens to be Middleton's middle name.
Aw! Coo over Kate Middleton's baby pics
We may well see Frances, which is Diana's middle name. I don't think we will see Diana or Frances as a first name, it is just too much of a cross to bear," Arbiter muses, "but I wouldn't be surprised if William honors his mother in some way."
Same standards apply if it's a boy—so probably no Zumas or Lions.
"When we are looking at boy's names, I wouldn't be surprised if we saw George as a first name as a tribute to the king's father," Arbiter says. "What is nice about George is it has become a bit trendy, cool and fun again without being silly. We may also see mention of Philip,Online shopping for custom made designer oscar dresses 2012. possibly Charles for William's father. We may see Arthur, which is a middle name that both William and Charles share. All very traditional."
Auntie (to be) Pippa steps out in London
Of course, playing guess-the-name is really a craps shoot—and British betting house Ladbrokes is doing its best to make the speculation a real gamble!
Elizabeth is currently the 8-1 favorite if it's a girl, the waging experts revealed this morning. Frances and Anne are also in the mix at 10-1 and 12-1, respectively. John and Charles lead the baby-boy charge, tied at 10-1, with Philip (14-1) and Edward (16-1) prominent possibilities, as well.
"Kate and Wills pulled the wool over our eyes, but now attention turns to the name of the baby and it looks like the couple will stick with a traditional name," said Ladbrokes spokeswoman Jessica Bridge, referring to the couple beating the favored odds that they'd announce a pregnancy in 2013 by about a month. "If they're expecting a girl, who better to name her after than Her Majesty?"
What's it like to be a royal baby?
She means Elizabeth, not Suri, right?
And speaking of Her Majesty, what sort of title would Queen Elizabeth's third great-grandchild carry once he or she arrives and assumes the royal crib?
"Buckingham Palace has made it very clear that any children born to William and Kate will automatically be prince [or] princess," Arbiter tells E! News. "At this point, it is a bit early to say what title they would carry. They may well go with Cambridge just in keeping up with their parents, they may well take Wales, which is what William has always gone by.
"And one day, if it is a firstborn son, he may be bestowed the title Prince of Wales. So I think we are most likely to see them with either Wales or Cambridge."
Saint Mary Magdalen Catholic Church was the setting for the 6:30 p.m. November 30, 2012, nuptial mass uniting Mary Therese Guilbeaux of Abbeville and Jonathan Hernandez of Maurice in Holy Matrimony. The gown was a trumpet-style silhouette with a V-neck bodice and custom cap-sleeve featuring an open keyhole back and a sweeping train. A matching lace flower hand-beaded with Swarovski crystals was on the front shoulder. Her satin belt was accented with an antique broach. The bride wore a cathedral-length veil of ivory illusion trimmed with a border of French lace.
She carried a bouquet of ivory ranunculus, sweetheart roses, and baby’s breath entwined with a locket worn by her mother on her wedding day, a childhood handkerchief and her deceased grandmother’s rosaries. Serving as matrons of honor were her sisters, Jeanne G. DesOrmeaux and Michelle G. Gisclaire. Bridesmaids were friends of the bride, Riley Granger and Cortni Hebert. Junior bridesmaids were the bride’s nieces, Sarah Blady and Emily Gisclaire.
The bridal attendants wore formal dresses of espresso chiffon. The iridescent chiffon draped formal skirts were accented with a shirred crisscrossed pleated bodice and open keyhole back. The junior bridesmaids wore formal dresses of soft pearl chiffon featuring a shirred sweetheart neckline. The neckline overlapped a shirred waist with a side front ruffle cascading down the formal length of the dress.
The bridal attendants carried a bouquet of bittersweet earth tones of amaryllis and miniature calla lilies hand tied with shantung silk. The junior bridesmaids each carried a bouquet of espresso ranunculus and baby’s breath accented with different shades of espresso feathers hand tied also with shantung silk.
Kate Rose DesOrmeaux, niece of the bride, and Ally Mae David, godchild of the groom, were the flower girls. Both wore an ivory shantung silk formal dress featuring a high waist fitted bodice with a lace overlay and puff sleeves. The widely flared skirt was gathered into the waistband and accented with an espresso tie waist bow. Each carried a handheld kissing ball intertwined with baby’s breath.

Groomsmen were friends of the groom, Lou Hebert, Codey Mire and Jeremy Trahan. They all wore traditional black tuxedos accented with an espresso vest.
Ushers were Christopher Bourgeois, cousin of the bride, and Nick Gisclaire, brother-in-law of the bride.

Tamra Barney is getting closer and closer to walking down the aisle. A final room has video clips showing how the “hands” create the special couture techniques, for example “budellini,” tiny sausages of silk that are exclusive to Valentino.
“That is very important,” said Valentino, showing how the budellini technique was used in a white chiffon evening gown in 1993.
Is that alta moda era gone forever with the corporate luxury culture and the tsunami of fast fashion?
The exhibition is surprisingly free of nostalgia, give or take a charming dress from 1968 that seems to bring Audrey Hepburn to life.
Mr. Kinmonth points out that the rising stars of British design, like Christopher Kane and Sarah Burton at Alexander McQueen, are eager to make an artistic statement by transforming material into sculptures to create complex couture-type pieces.
The current work of the Valentino designers Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaulo Piccioli proves that a younger generation is equally eager to create couture. Their pieces on display in the exhibition show a rare successful fashion succession story.
The most extraordinary feeling about the exhibition is Valentino's consistency. It is as though the designer started with a vision that he has never abandoned, but rather passed along from one set of clients to another.
This timelessness explains why Julia Roberts chose to wear to the Oscars in 2001 a back-revealing dress that was designed in 1992; or how Jennifer Anniston's red rose tulle dress had originally been designed 44 years earlier.
As Mr. Kinmonth says, the very first dress from 1952 — slim, black with a loose panel at the back — looks as if it just “popped out of pod.Looking for new collection of wedding dresses or maggie sottero wedding dress?”

They met and fell in love two months after California voters approved Proposition 8, the referendum banning same-sex marriage, so Megan Sainsbury and Katie Kinder knew from the beginning that their shared dream of a big wedding -- brides in gorgeous white wedding dresses, declared by an ordained minister to be "wife and wife" -- would require them to think creatively.
"We're actually very traditional," Megan says, "even though we're a lesbian couple."
So when they decided to get "married" in August, they hired a San Jose wedding planner and observed all the customs of a traditional ceremony.
And because the state refused to sanctify their union with a license, they devised a legal workaround. "There are ways you can create your own rules," she says, so both women dropped their last names and chose the same new last name. "Now we are legally the Sladers."
Along with thousands of other gay couples, on Monday morning the Sladers could get their first inkling of what will likely become the law of the land when the U.S. Supreme Court decides whether to wade into the same-sex marriage debate. Among a range of options the court will consider is further consideration of Proposition 8; if the justices do nothing to upend the 9th Circuit Court of Appeal's decision to overturn the law, gay and lesbian couples in California would be allowed to legally marry.
"The second we can go to City Hall and make it legal, we will be there," Megan Slader says. "It will be so amazing to be able to do that. It's absolutely important. We don't let things we can't do get to us, but this is one of the things that has been tough."
In addition to changing the lives of same-sex couples who have lived in legal limbo as Proposition 8, and challenges to the 1996 federal Defense of Marriage Act, have wended their way through the courts, a favorable ruling by the Supreme Court is expected to unleash a pent-up demand for gay weddings.
That possibility has not existed since a four-month window in 2008, between a state Supreme Court ruling allowing gay marriages and the passage of Proposition 8, a period in which 18,000 couples took their vows. In the years since, even so-called "commitment ceremonies" like the Sladers' have slowed to a trickle.
"A lot of gay couples just sort of gave up on the whole process," said Misti Layne, a San Francisco wedding photographer, who works only a handful of gay ceremonies each year.High Quality Beach Wedding Dresses is on sale at cheap prices from Chinese a-line wedding dresses wholesaler.
Gay unions are a tiny subset of the country's multibillion-dollar wedding industry, but groups like the Rainbow Chamber of Commerce of Silicon Valley hope that will soon change. "I think that's a huge market for us," said John Brehm, a sales manager at Corinthian Ground Transportation, a Cupertino limo service that advertises on the Purple Unions website.
Along with RainbowWeddingNetwork.com, Purple Unions is one of the few Internet hubs for gay couples in search of wedding planners and caterers attuned to their needs.
Gay commitment ceremonies are similar to straight weddings,Find the perfect cheap mother of the bride dresses to wear. with one notable exception. "I find them to be much more emotional sometimes, because people have waited so long,Shop PromGirl for quinceanera dresses red and black and pageant gowns with high low hemlines." Layne says. "The parents are happy that their sons or daughters have found someone who means so much to them. Maybe it was a long road to get there."
Purple Unions went online in 2003, when the future of the gay wedding market looked bright. But companies such as OutVite.com -- which sells "invitations and announcements designed specifically for the gay and lesbian consumer" -- remain scarce.
Megan Slader, a personal trainer who works in Los Gatos, took a typically Silicon Valley approach to finding someone to midwife their wedding. "I literally Googled 'gay wedding planner San Jose,' " she recalled. "You always have a fear that somebody is going to react like, 'Whoa, this is a gay couple,' but she treated us like any other client."
"In their minds, they're married," says Maxine Goulding, the couple's wedding planner. "They just know in the eyes of everybody else, they're not."
Doing everything they could within the law was imperative because the Sladers hope to have children someday. "And we want to be able to tell them we are legally married," Megan Slader says.
Goulding works on only about four gay ceremonies a year because, she says,Looking for new collection of wedding dresses or maggie sottero wedding dress? many couples get discouraged by the legal roadblock and decide to wait.Shop wedding dresses from china from cheap bridal dress china . "That hangs over their heads. I think when Prop. 8 does get settled, there are going to be more gay and lesbian weddings just because they'll feel like they're part of the group."
Now it's up to one of America's most exclusive secret societies -- the nine justices of the Supreme Court -- to decide whether they get that chance.
Rumour has it that notorious ladies' man Hugh Hefner and his former fiancée Crystal Harris are revving up to say "I do".
According to scandal sheet TMZ, the Playboy mogul, 86, and Harris, 26, are engaged - again.
The couple is reportedly set to tie the knot at the Playboy mansion on New Year's Eve.
Harris and Hefner were previously engaged in December 2010 after two years together, and were to set to tie the knot in a lavish wedding at the Playboy mansion in June 2011.
But it all went south when Harris famously jilted Hef and pulled the plug on the nuptials - just five days before she was set to sashay down the aisle.
"The wedding is off," Hefner glumly told his Twitter followers at the time.
"Crystal has had a change of heart.
"The breakup is a heart breaker, but better now than after the marriage,One-Shoulder Wedding Dresses" he later added.
Multiple sources claimed that the breakup was sparked after the pair had the mother of all arguments, resulting in Harris packing her bags and hightailing it from the Playboy mansion.
Speaking after she backed out of the wedding, Harris said she felt marrying Hefner wasn't the right decision.
"I called it off because I didn't think it was the right thing for me to do," Harris said.
"After much deep reflection and thought, I have decided to end my engagement with Hef," she wrote on her official blog . "I have the utmost respect for Hef and wish him the best going forward. I hope the media will give each of us the privacy we deserve during this time."
'I HAVE NEVER SEEN HIM NAKED'
But she later gave privacy the shove by dishing the dirt on their sex life during a candid radio interview.
Probed by "shock jock" Howard Stern about their doomed relationship, Harris took a few parting shots at her former fiancé.
She claimed the pair only had sex once during their relationship, and that it lasted "like about two seconds."
"Then I was just over it," she shared. "I was like, 'Ahhh.' I was over it. I just like, walked away. I'm not turned on by Hef, sorry."
Hefner said he felt like he'd dodged a bullet by not marrying Harris. "Quite frankly, I don't know what I was thinking about. I think my natural state is single. I've tried marriage twice, not successfully. These were not the happiest times of my life."
Responding to Harris' interview, Hefner took to Twitter to vent his feelings.
"We had sex once a week. We had sex with her and a girlfriend. We had sex the first night that we met, with another girl, and it was such a nice relationship that I kept them both over for a weekend, affordable one shoulder wedding dresses" he said.
He later tweeted: "I feel sorry for Crystal. She seems lost," while calling Harris a liar, high low prom dresses writing, "Crystal convinced me that she adored me. That was the first lie."
But a year later, the pair confirmed they were back together.
"Yes @hughhefner and I are back together. Yes I am his #1 girl again. Yes we are happy. Hope that clears up any confusion! xo," Harris gleefully announced in June.
Hefner also confirmed they were back on.
"It's Mary O'Conner that brought Crystal Harris back," he explained in a tweet. "Crystal was miserable and said so. Mary told Crystal to write and tell me, which she did."
He added: "Getting back together with Crystal Harris shouldn't be a big surprise, since I have a history of remaining close to former girlfriends."
Sources tell TMZ that Harris and Hef are "better than ever these days", and have "worked out all their previous problems and decided recently they want to try and get married again."
According to their insider: "Harris feels the time she spent apart from Hefner really taught her how to be independent and stand on her own two feet...something she felt she needed."
Word is the impending vow-swap will be an "intimate affair" in front of close friends and family.
According to Radar Online, Harris won't be rushing out to buy a wedding dress.Bridal Wedding Dresses The site claims that she will be wearing the same gown she bought for the first wedding.
Harris may have hinted that a wedding is on the cards last week.
Celebuzz notes that Harris took to Instagram and shared a snap of bride and groom Christmas ornaments.
"Check out these cool ornaments #mermaid #merman," she wrote.
Later adding, "Dear past, thank you for all the lessons. Dear future, I'm ready."
There's been no official comment from the couple on the rumoured nuptials.
If the lusty octogenarian really has popped the question, he must have forked out for new engagement bling. Harris famously put the orphaned $90,000 engagement sparkler Hef bought her on the auction block after their relationship went kaput.
Earlier this year, Hef said he had a firm resolution - to remain unwed.
"This year has been a very interesting year for me, I almost got married," he told People mag. "And as Holly (Madison) - a dear friend and former girlfriend - said, 'Well, you missed a bullet.'
"I think that's accurate. I am clearly not meant to be married. Married life isn't for me."

In a twist as jarring in the world of 30 Rock as, say, a revelation that it all took place in a snow globe, or that everybody was already dead, Tina Fey's tragically unlucky-in-love heroine is actually getting married, to James Marsden's dimpled and endearingly goofy Criss Chros.
Over its seven seasons, 30 Rock has made a running joke out of the hapless attempts of Liz Lemon, a single, head writer of a national sketch TV show, to "have it all": a good job, a healthy love life, and a family. Whether she's foiling a rom-com-ready moment by wolfing down a sandwich in the security line on her way to chase down her beau at the airport or entering into a relationship with a little person she met when she mistook him for a child and patted his head, Lemon's failures in pursuit of the perfect work-life balance have spawned viral videos, memorable dialogue, and thrust the character to the status of modern feminist icon.
30 Rock fans will have to wait until tonight to see how the Lemon-Chros nuptials unfurl—or if this is going to be a Brandon-and-Kelly-style fakeout. But given Lemon's 30 Rock history and Fey's sense of humor, it's a safe bet that this isn't going to be a fairy-tale wedding. In fact, it very well could be the starkest example yet of the evolution of how weddings play out on network TV. Gone are the days, it seems, of ceremonies so opulent and sweepingly romantic that Jane Austen would swoon. Here are the days when Liz Lemon—she of blergh and night cheese—has a 30 Rock-style wedding.
For much of TV history, weddings on TV shows reflected all the extravagance wide-eyed young girls dream of. An astonishing 30 million viewers tuned in to see Luke and Laura's grand affair on General Hospital in 1981, perhaps the most sun-kissed, teased-hair, poofy-dressed TV wedding up to that point. The weddings of Amanda and Prince Paul on Dynasty, David and Donna on Beverly Hills: 90210, and even ones on more blue-collar series like Rhoda and Happy Days were exorbitantly styled as if taken directly from the pages of a bridal magazine. Moving towards the new millennium, the weddings of Monica and Chandler on Friends or Robby and Amy on Everybody Loves Raymond resembled the societal norm of a "nice wedding": expensive reception hall,We Offer Cheap china wholesale bridesmaid dresses. impeccably tailored dress, live music, and so on.
But this is 2012, and that societal norm is,Where is your Wedding Dress Shops? at least through my anecdotal research, changing. Dreams have been downsized, and so have the weddings. Designer gowns and picturesque halls booked years in advance bear less importance to newlyweds. Thanks to Facebook, YouTube, and the age of social media, memories aren't bought with money anymore, they're made with creativity—and then made viral. Adorable musical theater-style proposals are captured on tape, posted online, and quickly elicit the awws of millions of web users, not just the few of those who happened to be in attendance.Dennis Basso Sweetheart drop waist wedding dress with Dropped Waist in Organza. Choreographed wedding dances and bridal party flash mobs continue to drum up YouTube clicks. The memory has gone the way of the meme.
This trend is being mirrored in weddings as they play out on TV, too. It's not that wedding episodes of popular series have less "event" status than before. The marriage of two favorite characters is as cherished a TV moment for fans as ever. But how series are portraying these weddings seems to be increasingly influenced by this societal movement.
Jim and Pam's wedding on The Office is a prime example of this. The episode made a viral moment by actually recreating a viral video—the one where a bridal party dances down the aisle to Chris Brown's "Forever." But the heartwarming pseudo-elopement that happened just minutes before in the episode, Jim and Pam run away to the Maid of the Mist and get married alone underneath Niagara Falls, ended up being a scene that was just as memorable.
On Parks and Recreation,A ball gown wedding dress is fitted through the waist and then flairs out through the bottom with layers of tulle and satin. April and Andy had a surprise wedding, during which Andy wore a sports jersey and cargo pants. Ask TV fans which was more memorable, that highly unusual, highly entertaining reception, or the more traditional weddings that aired on One Tree Hill or Smallville that same season, and they'll likely vote overwhelmingly in favor of April and Andy's pop-up affair.
Even when Grey's Anatomy finally decided to have Meredith and Derek—up there among the decade's most popular will-they-or-won't-they couples—make it official,High Quality A-Line Wedding Dresses is on sale at cheap prices from Chinese a-line wedding dresses wholesaler. the series didn't give them the bells-and-whistles wedding that viewers may have expected. Instead, Meredith and Derek got married on a post-it that they stuck to a wall. In the age of Facebook, two of TV's most popular characters got married, literally, with a wall post.
Previous 30 Rock weddings have included Tina Fey performing an acoustic ballad at a church altar and a bride named "Feyonce." A recent engagement scene featured a cross-dressing man descending from the rafters while singing "Zou Bisou Bisou." Suffice it to say, then, the Liz Lemon's nuptials probably won't include flower girls, the dramatic releasing of doves, tear-jerking vows, and copious amounts of orchids.
It remains to be seen what brand of ridiculousness the wedding will include, but if it follows the recent trend in TV weddings—not to mention 30 Rock's history—it will likely blend earnestness with a touch of cynicism and maybe some sarcasm. To borrow from Liz Lemon, "I want to go to there."

It also provided students with a place to purchase name brand, sometimes new gowns for special occasions at an affordable price, said home economics teacher Michele Stoicovy, who sponsors "The Future is Mine." Dresses range in price from $5 to $150.
"It promotes recycling – or upcycling – and it makes the expenses of the dance a little more affordable for the students," Stoicovy said.
Students who donate dresses to "Impress for Le$$" will receive a percentage discount on their ticket to the 2013 Thomas Jefferson prom, if the gown sells, Smith said.
Accessories also will be on sale at the "upscale" recycling event and vendors will be available to talk about hair, limos and jewelry. Some of the dresses for sale, even, have never been worn.
"Impress for Le$$" isn't just for Thomas Jefferson students. Last year, students from nearby districts attended and found dresses to take home, Stoicovy said.
Last year, more than $1,000 in merchandise was sold at the first "Impress for Le$$" held in January,High Quality A-Line Wedding Dresses is on sale at cheap prices from Chinese a-line wedding dresses wholesaler. Smith said. The school held a second sale later in the year because there were extra dresses remaining in stock. At that sale, an additional $700 in items were sold, she said.
"Even if it doesn't fit perfectly, you can change it up and make it what you want," said Thomas Jefferson senior Brianne Bowman, 17.
Thomas Jefferson senior Christina Meyer purchased two dresses last year totaling $40. One she wore to prom last year that cost her $30. And that $10 dress, she plans to wear to this year's Snowball.
"I liked that they were classy, but also simple," Meyer said of her purchases.
"It's really inexpensive, so the girls that want to get brand names can get them at a lesser value," said TJ senior Madison Gentile, 17. "People are getting great dresses for an inexpensive price and we also get some money to help the prom. It's like everyone wins."

Brittany originally wanted orange as her wedding color, but after protest from her bridesmaids went with pink. The bride was kind enough to give them the shade and let the girls choose their own dresses.
Brittany and Ronnie met not far from where they had their beautiful wedding on St. Pete Beach.Shop wedding dresses made in china wholesale from cheap bridal dress china . They were together 5 and half years and have a daughter together before deciding to make it official by getting married. They got married at the Grand Plaza Hotel on St. Pete Beach, which is one of the places they spent time together when they first started dating. We even took a photo of them all dressed up that is similar to one they took together when they first started dating.
As a way of keeping her guests cool on the hot beach in August, Brittany used woven fans with the program details attached for her guests. When it comes to floral arrangements, the mason jars used had a special meaning to Brittany and Ronnie. You see, Brittany uses the excess from her garden and actually uses mason jars to can her own food. So the mason jars were near and dear to her heart.

The holidays are an exciting but sometimes stressful time, especially as a bride-to-be. Not only are you dealing with the stresses of holiday shopping, but you also have to keep an extra eye on your budget, watch what you eat and juggle your family and your fiancé's family -- all while trying to be joyful and bright!
You're right, that doesn't sound easy at all. But it can be.
I've noticed a lot of brides are always SO overwhelmed and they often forget that being engaged is an exciting time that was never meant to be stressful. Being engaged is like a stage in life all to itself. First you're single, then you're dating, then you're engaged. After that you get married, have babies, etc. So for the past 13 months (and for the next six to come) I've committed to enjoying this stage and not wishing it would be over. Yes, even during the holidays!
If you're a bride-to-be, now or five years from now,Looking for the ideal dress to wear for Empire Wedding Dresses? don't take the holidays for granted and just remember:
New family means more love. They may be crazy,Shop wedding dresses made in china wholesale from cheap bridal dress china . different and quirky but they're YOUR family now, so embrace the crazy and remember how lucky you are to have more people on your side.
The holidays aren't about gifts so don't let a tighter budget because of wedding planning make you a Scrooge! Giving gifts with meaning are more important than anything a whole bunch of money can buy. And the people you are buying gifts for are the ones who will understand the most that you need to be more conservative during this time!
All the treats and deliciousness don't have to be a challenge, even when you have a dress to fit in to (trust me, that's saying a lot coming from me). Let yourself indulge a little. Keyword –- a little! It will go a long way and you'll still be on track for the big day. My family had nachos for Thanksgiving and believe me, I indulged…a little.
