What Will Jessica Biel Wear to Marry Justin Timberlake This Weekend? Plus Jennifer Aniston, Angelina Jolie and More Celebrity Wedding Dress Predictions

As Jessica Biel gears up to tie the knot with Justin Timberlake in Italy this weekend, our big question is: What will she wear?

The timing of Biel's nuptials couldn't be more perfect for finding “the one” — aka her wedding dress (more on it shortly): Hollywood's most in-demand wedding dress designers — including Vera Wang, Monique Lhuillier and Marchesa — just revealed their newest wedding dress collections on the Bridal Market runways in New York this week.

There were tons of gorgeous gowns on the fashion runways (check them out here!) — some that seemed destined for our favorite famous brides-to-be, including Biel, as well as Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Aniston,Justin Alexander offers wholesale halloween costume in all different silhouettes, necklines, and colors. Keira Knightley and Sofia Vergara.

So we thought we'd play the fashion world's version of gambling, and place our bets on the new runway looks that we predict will be reappearing down the aisles of the next celebrity nuptials.

Ready for a game of bridal runway roulette?

We'll start with Biel, who was caught stepping out of designer Elie Saab's atelier in Paris last week, causing many to consider Saab a safe bet for the designer of the wedding dress the actress will wear to wed Timberlake this weekend. Sure enough, we spotted some wedding-worthy white dresses at Saab's Spring 2013 ready-to-wear runway show in Paris earlier this month,Wedding gowns and www.cheaphotcostume.com by Alexia Designs. including one that has “Jessica Biel” written all over it.

Next, we'll move on to what we thought would be an easy bride to dress — Brad Pitt's bride-to-be,The Lissa's short wedding dresses We started to do wedding dresses business on 2003 year. who has remained loyal to the elegant personal style she adopted around the same time she took over as Pitt's other hal.

To fit Jolie's sultry spin on old-Hollywood glamour, we looked for a dress that embodied the same timeless elegance — with a sexy twist, of course — as the gowns Jolie gravitates toward on the red carpet. Amsale offered the perfect mix of sexy sophistication for the mom-of-six. Keep reading to check it out.

For Pitt's former bride, we wanted a style that read: effortless elegance. The trouble is, the motto of this season's bridal runways was “go big or go home,” with an abundance of feminine embellishments decorating dramatic white and ivory confections, which made finding the perfect no-frills dress for Justin Theroux's bride a challenge. Ultimately,Are you going to buy a fashion and beautiful evening dresses from china? though, we found “the one” for Jen to wear from a classic designer we've been a fan of for years.

What will the rest of Hollywood's soon-to-be-wed stars wear to exchange vows? You'll have to check out the gallery to see the wedding gowns we placed our bets on.

Even if there aren't wedding bells in your future (at least not anytime soon), we've rounded up plenty of wedding dress eye candy from Bridal Market Fall 2012 (because who doesn't love looking at dream-worthy wedding dresses?).

Get ready for not one, but TWO, fairy tale weddings ‘Gossip Girl' fans! It looks like both Blair and Serena will be walking down the aisle — but which dress do you really love? After years of drama, hooking up, breakups and of course, fashion, Gossip Girl is finally coming to an end — but luckily the gals will be getting their happily-ever-after endings! The cast was spotted filming the final episode on Oct. 15 and 16 in NYC. From the looks of it, Chuck and Blair and Serena and Dan are tying the knot. Blair (Leighton Meester) was spotted in a beautiful blue gown at what appears to be a wedding in Central Park. Blair looks so beautiful and has us seeing blue for sure.

Fashion and flair was the order of the day at Montego Bay's first Jamaica Bridal Expo held at the Montego Bay Convention Centre, Rose Hall, last weekend.

During the well-attended event, several wedding planning businesses came out to show what they had to offer from wedding dresses, honeymoons, lighting,Discount swim bikini for pregnant bride, We provide best maternity bridal gowns. decor, reception venues and more. Patrons, many of whom are soon-to-be brides,Discover Jovani's collection of short dresses and flirty cheaphotcostume. anxiously walked from one booth to the next to see if there was anything that would suit their wedding day needs. From the red carpet to the runway, onbridals are everywhere this season.

Minister of Tourism and Entertainment Wykeham McNeill who officially opened the exposition, lauded the event for its quality and congratulated all the exhibitors.

"Walking in here today I was amazed at the quality of the exhibitions that are here, and it shows the calibre of what Jamaica has to offer. Jamaica is a perfect destination for weddings and it is a very strong market," he stressed.

Shanieka Moodie who hopes to get married in the near future, told the Observer West that she has learned a lot from the bridal expo.

"The Bridal Expo has been an eye-opening experience I have seen a lot of things that I may be interested in. Everything looks beautiful. The only thing that is missing for me is the food from the hotels that offer weddings and from caterers," she said.A fabulous selection of wedding dresses with sleeves and plus size bridesmaid dresses.

"Food is a very important element to any wedding and I would have liked to have tried some samples of menus from caterers. Otherwise, all the other areas were covered".

And Merl Walker believes that the event was well put together.

"Its been a great day so far. I love the creativity behind each display. I definitely enjoyed the fashion show as well, that was a nice touch," she said.

During the fashion show, the scores of patrons in attendance could not contain themselves as their favourite dress made its way down the catwalk. Patrons were also able to sample wines and champagne courtesy of Wray and Nephew and Appleton Jamaica Rum, while chocolate lovers were able to indulge in sweet treats from the Mobay Chocolate Company.

The two -day event which was staged by private interests, with the backing of the Jamaica Tourist Board (JTB), attracted approximately 80 exhibitors.

On the November 4 episode of Revenge, Conrad and Victoria will tie the knot once again.

The event will be decadent, but as we know with the Graysons, it's always an "Illusion."

Having already shown you Victoria's wedding dress, we've now posted 30 more images from the episode, which brings the whole cast together for an event that promises drama, intrigue, scandal and mind-altering plot twists.

Even by Revenge standards! Here's one particularly buzz-worthy shot:

A new exhibition is hailing the fashion sense of Katharine Hepburn, whose trademark khakis and open-collar shirts were decidedly unconventional in the 1930s and 40s, when girdles and stockings were the order of the day.

The fiercely independent Hepburn famously once said: "Anytime I hear a man say he prefers a woman in a skirt, I say, 'Try one. From the red carpet to the runway, onbridals are everywhere this season. Try a skirt.'"

But skirts and dresses abound in "Katharine Hepburn: Dressed for Stage and Screen" at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts, which opens Thursday.

Hepburn, who died in 2003 at age 96, saved almost all the costumes from her long career that included four Oscars and such memorable films as "The Philadelphia Story," "The African Queen," "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner" and "On Golden Pond." Forty are on view at the exhibition,Justin Alexander offers wholesale halloween costume in all different silhouettes, necklines, and colors. which runs through Jan. 12.

One of the first things visitors will notice is how slender Hepburn was _ she had a 20-inch waist _ and a grouping of seven khaki pants artfully arranged on a pair of mannequin legs.

"The fact that she wore slacks and wanted to be comfortable influenced women's ready-to-wear in the United States," said Jean Druesedow, director of the Kent State University Museum, which was given 700 items from Hepburn's estate. Kent State was selected because it's one of the country's only museums of performance clothes.

"That image said to the American woman 'Look you don't have to be in your girdle and stockings and tight dress. You can be comfortable. That was probably the first aspect of becoming a fashion icon," said Druesedow, a co-curator of the exhibition.

The strong-willed actress known for taking charge of her career worked closely with all her designers to decide her performing wardrobe.

"They understood what would help her characters, what she would feel comfortable wearing ... how it would support the story," Druesedow said.

Margaret Furse, an English designer who created Hepburn's wardrobes for "The Lion in Winter," "A Delicate Balance" and "Love Among the Ruins," went shopping with the star and talked extensively about what kinds of things would set the scene.

Among the highlights is a stunning satin and lace wedding gown created by Howard Greer for her role as Stella Surrege in "The Lake." The 1933 production was her first major Broadway role and also a huge flop. Writer and wit Dorothy Parker described her performance as running "the gamut of emotion from A to B." The experience taught Hepburn to have a bigger say in what roles she accepted, said Barbara Cohen-Stratyner, curator of exhibitions at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts.

When she really liked a costume she had copies made for herself, sometimes in a different color or fabric. A silk dress and coat by Norman Hartnell from "Suddenly, Last Summer" and a green raw silk jumpsuit by Valentina from "The Philadelphia Story" were among the pieces she had copied.

Comfort was paramount to Hepburn _ being able to throw her leg over a chair or sit on the floor. She always wore her 'uniform' _ khakis and a shirt _ to rehearsals and pant ensembles to publicity appearances.

A companion book, "Katharine Hepburn: Rebel Chic,Justin Alexander's 2012 Vintage Wedding Dresses are the epitome of sophisticated and affordable elegance." describes how RKO executives hid Hepburn's trousers in an effort to persuade her to abandon them.

"Her response was to threaten to walk around the lot naked.Discover Jovani's collection of short dresses and flirty cheaphotcostume. Though she only stripped down as far as her silk underwear before stepping out of her dressing room, she made her point _ and she got her trousers back," fashion writer Nancy MacDonell wrote in an essay for the book.

But comfort didn't mean sacrificing style _ and she certainly knew how to be glamorous especially when a role called for it.

In her private life, she shopped at the major cutting-edge New York couturiers and worked with the best costume shops of the period, including Muriel King and Valentina, said Cohen-Stratyner.

"She really appreciated good fabric and good construction," she said. "Even her trousers are couture."

The exhibition is supplemented by film clips, movie posters, and archival photographs of Hepburn wearing the very costumes worn by the mannequins. Her false eyelashes, makeup trays and sensible shoes are also on display.

When I first met my in-laws, like many people, I was apprehensive about what to expect. Would we get on? Would they like me? Would I like them?

The added complication in my case,New Sexy Nurse Costume features a snap front mini nurse dress with ruffled hem is that my parents-in-law are Russian. Through and through. They live in Moscow. They speak no English. They never will.

In many ways it's a bit of a Godsend – all I have to do when we visit them is smile sweetly and have my other half translate my ramblings about where I live, what I do for a living and when I expect to have children (their favourite topic) into fluent Russian prose without the ums and ahs. I come across looking like a saint.

Best of all,Internet Sheath Wedding Dresses Socks and Boxers. the three of them can talk about my life, my job, the fact I'm leaving it too late to have children, et cetera, and before they know it, they become bored of that – quite rightly – and move onto something else. Not being able to speak their language is an excellent excuse for avoiding the spotlight.

The flipside of this is that I can rarely join in with all the good bits of conversation. I miss the intricacy of being able to talk to them like I would my own parents. I miss the nuances between Russian and English cultures and am left with stark, obvious differences like the fact they eat cow's tongue for breakfast and think it's weird I want porridge.

They meet me at the airport in the depths of the Russian winter asking why I'm not wearing a thicker coat, better boots – not asking me how I am or how the flight was. Their way of caring about me is totally different to my parents.

Nothing was so obviously different between the two cultures than what I experienced in the run-up to my wedding two months ago. The divide is still there today when I visit them.

It started about a year ago, when I decided I would lose weight for my Big Day. It's a cliché and completely stereotypical,FOR allegedly being in possession of Uniforms & Others military accoutrements. I know, that brides-to-be become obsessed with losing weight for their wedding day. I was one of those brides, I'm slightly embarrassed to admit. (I'd much rather say I didn't give a shite about what I looked like in my wedding dress, that all that matters is how I feel inside, blah blah. But alas, I am too vain).

I was fed up that I couldn't do my jeans up anymore. I had put weight on. So I decided to trim down and tone up for my wedding dress. In the space of a few months' worth of hard training, treadmills and eating five a day, I shed the puppy fat and lost over a stone and a half. I did it sensibly and maintained the new weight with healthy eating and a good regime.

Most importantly, I felt as confident in my body as I had ever felt. Months of hard work had paid off. My friends, my (English) mum, loads of work mates – everyone was saying I looked in great shape. It was a lovely feeling and I was ready for the Big Day.

Then the Russian in-laws arrived in town. We met them at the airport. As with Cops & Robbers, prisoners can be freed by tagging them in the base. They looked worried. The first thing they said to me? “You need to put some weight on. A good wife is a fat wife.”

I've heard it several times in many guises since: “A good woman is a fat woman; you need to put weight on; you haven't put weight on yet…” Every time I visit now they insist on feeding me the fattiest cuts of meats, cheesecake at bedtime and scoops of cooking oil with every vegetable. "We've got to fatten you up," they cry.

You cannot win. What is considered healthy in England is unhealthy in Russia. What is seen as ‘slim' over here translates into skinny and scrawny over there; unable to bear children; unable to look after the Russian husband.

It made me think about what – and who - you do things in life for. I am glad I lost the weight: I feel healthier and that makes me happier. But there is a line to be drawn between losing weight to become healthier, and obsessing about being stick thin to fulfil dark desires of looking like a size 0 model.

Luckily I know I do not fall into the latter category. Me and size 0 are a loooong way off and I don't want to look like that anyway.

But it's a warning to girls like me everywhere: only do things you want to do for the right reasons. Don't feel pressured into losing weight just because ‘society' says so – a few thousands miles East and ‘society' sees things a whole lot differently.

Designer Rachel Alvia and her husband,Makin' Waves Sexy Sailor Costumes features a stretch knit dress with contrast piping. Ted Alvia, hold the grand opening for the first retail location of their custom wedding dress business, Avail & Company, on Wednesday in downtown Evanston.

When Rachel and Ted Alvia visited 1106 Davis St. in Evanston, they knew immediately that it was the perfect location for their custom wedding dress business.

The married couple had visited several properties in Chicago and one other location in Evanston before they toured the former site of Fleebags, a store that sold oilcloth bags.

Looking inside, Rachel could finally imagine a showcase for Avail & Company, the wedding dress business she’s been running out of her home along with her husband, Ted, since 2005.

“I can actually see it in my mind,” she recalls thinking.

Just a few months later, she and Ted have moved from their home in Poplar Grove to Rogers Park, and a grand opening is scheduled for this Wednesday evening at Avail & Company. Ted and Rachel chose the name Avail because it means “of service,” and is composed of the letters of their last name, rearranged.

Although retail store has yet to officially open, the Alvias are already seeing customers by appointment inside the high-ceilinged space, where white and ivory dresses hang from the pale grey walls and a tall, white lace curtain adorns the floor-to-ceiling front window.

“We didn’t actually want a storefront at first,” Rachel admits. She and Ted simply wanted to find a physical location outside their home where she could make her dresses, and, also offer a space for customers to come for fittings. But as they toured more and more sites, they realized they wanted a storefront retail location.

“It’s just a different feeling when we see people walking and they stop in,” says Ted.

Growing up in an artsy family, Rachel enjoyed sewing but always imagined she would become a teacher. Then a friend asked Rachel to sew her homecoming dress—and the experience changed her mind about teaching.

Rachel went on to obtain a degree in fashion design from the Illinois Institute of Art at Chicago. Although she also designs bridesmaid dresses, mother of the bride dresses and other special occasion attire, Rachel says wedding dresses are her passion for a reason.

“It’s the most memorable garment that a woman will ever wear,” she says. “And for the girls I work with, it’s really an expression of personality.”

She has designed steampunk wedding dresses, medieval wedding dresses, dresses covered in detailed embroidery and showstopper ball gowns with yard upon yard of fabric. Although she plans to design a signature collection of dresses to coincide with the opening of Avail & Company’s physical location, Rachel says she enjoys working one on with customers the most.

“I have a hard time designing unless I have somebody to design for,” she says. “I draw my inspiration from the person I’m working with.”

Typically, Rachel meets or e-mails with a customer, then creates sketches that she puts on a private website and shares with the bride. We have a huge variety of Mermaid Wedding Dresses to buy in stock! She and her client talk back and forth about the dress, selecting color swatches and tweaking the final design. The whole process takes six to nine months, and each dress involves 20 to 50 hours of work, according to Rachel.High Cosplay/Uniform Costume for kids, adult and plus-size in Halloween & Cosplay Events with deep discounts. Eventually,Bold and Beautiful School Girl Costume for Women and Teenagers for Parties. her client comes in for a final fitting or tries the dress on at home if she lives far away.

“Even when you see it on a hanger, it really doesn’t do anything until it’s on a person,” says Ted.

Having a physical location also gives customers the opportunity to try on other dresses while they’re at the store—and that has its own rewards, as the Alvias have discovered. Recently, one client flew to Chicago from Arizona along with her family, planning to commission a dress from Rachel. But when she arrived, one of the dresses on the rack of samples caught her eye.

Called “Love’s Affinity On Horizon,” the dress is made from strips of white and peach-colored fabric layered in narrow ruffles to look like a sunrise. Rachel originally made the dress for a gallery show in Springfield that featured works by creative families. Her grandmother’s fashion illustrations, her mother’s watercolors and her sister’s ceramics were also on display.

The bride loved the dress at first glance, and when she tried it on, it ended up fitting her perfectly. Now it hangs in plastic in Rachel’s shop, ready for shipping to the Arizona.

“She just loved that it had a story behind it,” Rachel explains.

In contrast to the cluster of high-end wedding shops on Oak Street in downtown Chicago, Avail and Company is one of only two wedding stores in Evanston (the other is Dame Couture, 1804 Central St., which also makes custom dresses). But Rachel says she never considered locating her boutique downtown.

n Apartment 23 has a good thing going with her boyfriend, the Hurt Locker and True Blood actor Brian Geraghty, and doesn't see the need to walk down the aisle anytime soon.

"I was never the little girl who dreamed about a wedding or a big white dress," Ritter, 30, tells Playboy's November issue.Buy from a huge selection of Sexy Jewelry via Paypal. "I don't think I'm sour on marriage. I just don't know if I'm the type."

"Marriage seems scary to me," she adds. "I'm in a serious relationship. We have a dog together. We live five minutes from each other. It's heaven. I think that might be the key: separate houses, separate bank accounts.Celebrate the holidays with our fun, affordable Christmas Costume. Why mess with that?"

She and Geraghty are a study in contrasts, at least looks-wise. "My boyfriend is a character actor. He can hide," Ritter says. "But I'm a cartoon character. We offer mermaid mother of bride dresses 2012, which quality are guaranteed. I have black bangs. I can't hide."

People also find her unexpectedly tall, though she's only 5-foot-9. "When I met my boyfriend, he knew me only from watching me on Breaking Bad. I was wearing heels when I met him, and he was like, 'Oh, wow. You're really tall.' We have a thing: If we're going to a party for me, I can wear big heels. And if we're going to a party for him, I wear the small heels."

Geraghty is certainly a step up from her earliest boyfriend, the guy to whom Ritter lost her virginity. "He was so angsty and bad. He was a real bad boy," she recalls. "His name was Damian, but my parents called him Demon. Our first time was in his parents' van before basketball practice. I don't remember it being very pleasant."

Ritter, who grew up on a farm in Pennsylvania – she had a pet calf, and they "took naps together and snuggled" – first broke through in the modeling world, and has some war stories to tell from those times.

"I lived with eight to 10 girls in the modeling agency's two-bedroom apartment, sleeping in bunk beds," she says. "We'd go out and drink cosmos and dance on tables. But no sex with rappers or cocaine or eating disorders."

She did have a conflict with one girl, who complained to the agency about Ritter playing the piano too late. "I got in trouble for that," says Ritter. "So I put roaches in her bed. You don't f--- with a girl's livelihood."

Like many brides to be, Anita Chakraburtty is busy planning her Sydney wedding next April. What sets her apart is that she doesn't have a boyfriend, let alone a fiance. But she is convinced she will find a husband before the wedding day.

“It's all in the stars so I'm 100 per cent sure it will happen,” she says.

Chakraburtty is part of a new trend of would-be brides or "single bridezillas" for whom planning their big day does not require a proposal from the man of their dreams.

As a professional astrologer, the British-born Chakraburtty, 42, says she is destined to meet her future husband any day now. From the red carpet to the runway, onbridals are everywhere this season.

“Astrologically I've got quite a lot of activity happening in October and November in my charts,” she says. She picked the date of the wedding, April 7, 2013, because it has once-in-a-lifetime planetary alignments favouring relationships, she says, and also happens to be her birthday.

“I've got a red dress because I'm Aries, a fire sign, and I've also bought shoes with diamante on them – and diamond is the birthstone of Aries," she says. "And a friend is making a chilli chocolate wedding cake.”

Chakraburtty, who has lived in Coogee for six years, wants to get married on a hill there, followed by a beach barbecue. Friends and family are planning to come over from Britain for the wedding “but they've told me they aren't going to book tickets until I at least start dating”.

Chakraburtty, who also works as a naturopath, believes the universe is backing her choice of wedding date. She was a first-time bridesmaid at a friend's wedding recently and caught the bouquet.

“There are all these signs from the universe, milestones for me to say 'yes, you're on track'. I really, really know that I will get married on this day and I'm going to meet a brilliant guy in the next few months,” she says. "I've got so much love to offer someone."

Mostly single for nine years, she denies she is a wedding obsessive. “I was never this little girl who always wanted to be married and have a big dress. I've got a Masters in Chemistry and I was the head of risk in a bank in the UK so I've come from a very masculine education and career. I'm like one of the boys.”

She is not the only bride to want to put the dress before the diamond. With Australian brides getting married later – 50 per cent of them tie the knot between 25 and 29 – women have longer to think and plan their dream wedding.

The stakes are getting higher, too. In a wedding industry worth $4.Discount swim bikini for pregnant bride, We provide best maternity bridal gowns.4 billion a year, competition among companies for a slice of the wedding cake is high. The average wedding now costs about $37,000, according to recent figures from IbisWorld. That is likely to induce wedding planning anxiety in even the most laid-back couples.

Kat Richter, a 27-year-old writer from Philadelphia in the US, is hoping to be married by the time she is 30. After living in London for two years, she returned home to find that all her friends, including her high school sweetheart, had tied the knot.

“I treated myself to a three-month subscription to Match.com for my 25th birthday and set out to date 30 men in three months. It ended up taking me a year but I achieved my goal,” says Richter, who wrote about her dating adventures on her blog Fieldwork in Stilettos.Short Wedding DressesShort Wedding Dresses

Richter now has a boyfriend she has been dating for just under a year but is still waiting for a marriage proposal.

That has not deterred her from making a few wedding plans. She has two dresses for the occasion. “I inherited the first from my paternal grandmother. It's vintage 1940s satin, with long sleeves and a sweetheart neckline. I love it but it's a bit heavy and too cumbersome for dancing so I purchased a second gown for $12. It has cap sleeves and is much less restrictive so I plan on wearing my grandmother's gown for the ceremony and changing into the second gown for the reception.Wedding gowns and www.cheaphotcostume.com by Alexia Designs.”

Richter has also decided on the flowers, invitations and even the first wedding dance. She thinks being labelled a “single bridezilla” is silly.

“To me, a real bridezilla is someone who ends up going crazy in the weeks leading up to her wedding because they haven't planned well enough from the start. I am a perfectionist and I'm a very creative person so I have very specific ideas about how I want things to look but I don't want to spend a fortune and I don't want to make myself or anyone else crazy. So I figure if I start planning now, I'll be less stressed out in the long run.”

Why are so many highly educated and financially independent single women focused on planning their perfect wedding before they have received a proposal?

“Some people are dreamers,” clinical psychologist Jo Lamble says. “They have intense fantasy lives. Some dream of the perfect wedding. Others dream of fame and fortune. There's nothing wrong with having a good fantasy life as long as you keep your expectations realistic because otherwise there is the danger of life never living up to reality.”

As well as secretly planning their nuptial fantasies on wedding sites, forums and content-sharing sites such as Pinterest, would-be brides can seek emotional support anonymously online. At the wedding planning website TheKnot.com, the Not Engaged Yet forum is buzzing with wannabe brides at screaming point with frustration waiting for the ring.

“I know what I'd like the engagement ring to look like and have a wedding dress already," one hopeful says. "I'm becoming obsessed with looking at rings and just want to get engaged. If anyone can help me learn some patience/put things into perspective, I'd appreciate it.”

Lamble warns how obsessing about the perfect wedding can backfire. “Problems arise in relationships where the woman is fantasising about the perfect wedding and the guy is feeling the pressure to be the perfect partner by organising a unique way to propose and being able to help pay for the planned extravaganza.

Victoria Pendleton: 'I've Already Picked Out My Wedding Dress Designer!' The Olympian On Tying The Knot, Crying And Strictly

We cried with her on the podium as she clutched her gold medal at the Olympics – we were almost reaching for the tissues again after her first appearance on Strictly Come Dancing. Victoria Pendleton has come a long way this summer – not only retiring from her first and lifetime love of cycling and swapping her helmet for heels, but slipping effortlessly further into the public eye than she's ever been.

It can't be easy – and, despite throwing herself into training for more than 30 hours per week – she's bravely admitted that, er, it really isn't. But will those pesky spot-turns get in her way? Will they heck. 'I was so annoyed with myself,' Victoria admitted when Grazia caught up with her at Cyletta, UK's leader for women only sponsored bike rides,Justin Alexander offers wholesale halloween costume in all different silhouettes, necklines, and colors. last week - pick up this week's issue for more of our exclusive chat. 'But I'm not embarrassed about coming across as emotional or vulnerable at times. I'm proud that I can make people feel like I'm real.'

But has she had moments when she wishes she was still in the velodrome, not the ballroom? 'Retiring is daunting,' she says. 'I have had moments of doubt thinking have I done the right thing? It's crazy because I know that physically I know I could continue for another four years but it would be hard to manage my injuries. Also, I've been doing the same thing all my life, and I want to do something different.'

nd since making that decision, things have been incredibly different for Victoria. Her autobiography, detailing harrowing details of her battle with self-harm, was released and instead of a rigorous training regime, she's been thrown into Strictly and doing the charity work with Cycletta that she loves – and, let's not forget, she's got a wedding to focus on.

'I've already picked out my wedding dress designer,' she says, excitedly. 'I'm going to go with Suzanne Neville, who has got a shop in Wilmslow which I've cycled past so many times and I've always thought, “Wow!”. I look at the dresses in the window and they're just so beautiful; I've spoken to her directly.short wedding dressesshort wedding dressesDiscover Jovani's collection of short dresses and flirty cheaphotcostume. Slowly and steadily, the crowd trickled in to watch the show which finally started after a two hour delay. While Bodybeat Productions’ performances on the first two days were energetic and entertaining, the last performance by film actors Sana and Bubrik (Veena Malik’s former love interest) was less impressive. While they danced to “Jhoom Barabar Jhoom” and “Holay Holay”, the audience preferred not to cheer them on.

That being said, the three day event put up by the organisers was well-coordinated overall. BCW learnt a few things from PFDC L’oreal Paris Bridal Week earlier this month — it improved its front row management; the newsletter placed on each seat with a recap from the night before was something BCW noted from PFDC and it was a welcome addition for those who had missed shows the evening before. What PFDC could learn from BCW is time management. Even with over an hour’s delay everyday for the first act, BCW managed to put through seven shows a day, along with two performances all before midnight. What BCW needs however, is a snack bar! Even though the event was being held at the Pearl Continental, there was no snack bar available for guests to munch on after leaving the red carpet.

Mehdi

Mehdi displayed the BCW finale. The collection titled ‘Jewels of Mehdi’ focused on jewel tones and a bygone era. Overall, the collection was well put together. Many pieces were real hits such as the red moqaish sari worn by Fia, Rabya Chaudhry’s sari with a full sleeved orange blouse and Nadia Ali’s slimming pretty pink silhouette and encrusted head piece. The pink accents on a bridal dress modeled by Mehreen Syed were beautiful and added a new flare to the outfit. The most fabulous aspect by far was the attention paid to the fabrics. Mehdi focused a lot on not just the texture but also the quality. The velvet used was of such beautiful quality that even in its simplicity it exuded luxury and that sets a design house a notch above the others.

Sadaf Arshad

Sadaf Arshad is a Gujranwala-based designer who has opened her doors to Lahori clients. Surprisingly, her collection was the most structurally sound collection shown at the finale of BCW.ruffled wedding dressesruffled wedding dresses The layered bridal in gold and red, worn by Mehreen Syed, added a new dimension to the designer’s work. The poncho style shirts were cut and stitched very well and the embellishments were neatly and intricately placed. However, an outfit modeled by Neha fell flat because the shades of grey and yellow were not going well together and made an otherwise decent outfit look drab. Iman Ali walked out as the showstopper in a black heavy bridal with silver and gold embellishments.

Grand Couturiers

13 of Pakistan’s most sought after designers opened the second act by displaying one outfit each. Noore walked the ramp wearing a chili red Deepak Perwani bridal; Mehreen Syed endorsed a lovely orange and red bridal with a contrasting maroon dupatta by HSY; Fauzia sported a very simple and elegant green Maheen Khan; Ayaan modelled a sexy black and hot pink Mina Hasan and Fayeza Ansari donned Nickie n Nina’s latest collection.Marks and Spencer's guide to buying Valentine Lingerie day. Nadia wore a beautiful Nomi Ansari dress and Rabia Butt wore a delicate looking lace appliqued Rizwan Beyg ensemble. Neha wore Sana Safinaz’s hottest new piece, while Nadia Ali and Nomi Qamar walked about in Umar Sayeed.

Ahmed Bilal

The evening opened with Ahmed Bilal’s eclectic collection. It was hard to concentrate on the designs because of the unusual (read outrageous) sari-like togas being modeled by the male models. As model Mohammad walked out on the ramp, it seemed that there had been an accidental wardrobe exchange back stage. He was draped in what could have been a lovely sari in deep purple with shocking pink edging. The menswear continued in its insaneness, as model after model walked out in voluminous sleeves and gaudy belts. All hope died when Abdullah walked out wearing an outfit that was part gladiator and part darbari. That being said,Fancy ladies have a large selection of Sexy Clubwear , mini dresses for women. the women’s collection was far more palatable in comparison. Fauzia modeled a lovely rust and beige flared shirt with beautiful borders at the end in black velvet, maroon and green. Fia modeled a short gold koti over a black and gold shirt that would have been better off without the animal print panels. TV actor Fizza Ali was the show stopper, and walked down the ramp in a red shirt with large lace panels and animal print (sigh) borders.

Sonar Jewellers

The famous jewellery brand had some interesting pieces on display, such as a beautiful gold matha patti. However, even for imitation jewellery, some of the pieces looked very artificial. More than anything else, the styling of the jewellery had some of the models’ resemble sacrificial cows, and ended up looking very out of place in a bridal fashion show. What worked against the jewellery designers was the choice of dresses worn. Some of the outfits overpowered the jewellery and got merged in with the silhouette. For instance,Wholesale Bra & Bikini Sets with cheap price, Worldwide Delivery No Ninimum Order! Fauzia wore Sania Maskatiya and even though the outfit was stunning on its own, the jewellery got lost in it because there was too much going on.

Smiling as she soaks up the sun in Miami, this is wedding brawl bride Nicole Sannuti on her bachelorette weekend - just weeks before her big day ended in tragedy.

She and seven friends flew to Florida last month for a party which one of them described as ‘one big scene from The Hangover’.

On their first day they stayed up for 24 hours in what was the perfect send-off for their beloved friend.

But come the wedding itself, things took a far darker turn with the now infamous brawl at a hotel which involved up to 100 members of both the bride and groom’s families.

Much love: On their first day the girls stayed up for 24 hours in what was the perfect send-off for their beloved friend Nicole,Get great fashion ideas and the latest trends for corset and tulle wedding dresses. left

Another guest at the hotel filmed the episode and posted it on YouTube where it got more than 900,000 hits and gave the Sannuti family the kind of celebrity nobody would wish on their worst enemy.

Worse still, Miss Sannuti’s uncle Vincent Sannuti, 57, suffered a heart attack and died in the melee whilst her brother-in-law Matthew Sofka, 26, has been charged with assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest.

A few weeks before however, things looked very different.

Miss Sannuti,Beach wedding dresses chiffon, one mermaid chiffon one shoulder wedding dress for girls special events. 28, a vice president of asset management HR at Credit Suisse, kissed goodbye to fiance Michael Sofka, 28, for a weekend away with the girls.

Leaving her home in Jersey City, New Jersey, she knew that it was the last chance she had to let off some steam before the big day on October 6.Find Junior Bridesmaid Dresses gowns in great styles and hot colors.

The weekend was documented on Twitter by Miss Sannuti’s friend Kristin Pettito who wrote on September 14: ‘A mini vacay much needed!!!’

She also wrote: ‘Miami bound - bachelorette time with my best girls!’

Happy bride: Smiling with her friend, far left, and fiance Michael Sofka, right, little did Nicole know that her big day would end in tragedy and violence

The next day she posted a photo of herself on Instagram wearing a yellow dress with the bride-to-be next to her and the caption: ‘This is what being awake for 24 hours looks like. At a speakeasy. In Miami’.

Another with the caption ‘Love you so!!!’ shows her standing next to Miss Sannuti who can clearly be seen wearing a badge with ‘bride’ written on it in what looks like a hotel room.

Perhaps the most touching photo however was posted on Instagram by a user called Maryfaithgrace, believed to be Miss Sannuti’s sister.

It showed all eight women lined up next to each other arm in arm with the caption underneath reading: ‘Miami!!!’

Upon returning to New Jersey Miss Pettito made clear how much everyone enjoyed themselves as she wrote on Twitter to a friend: ‘I was the epitome of drunk girl dance face this weekend. The mother of the bride dresses from Belk are elegant and tasteful. Would have made you proud’.

Another Tweet read: ‘This weekend was one big scene from the hangover. And it was brilliant’.

Come the wedding however, brilliant turned to bloody - with awful consequences.

Another poignant reminder of what should have been was the wedding registry of gifts which the happy couple should have been enjoying - instead of grieving the loss of a relative.

The two lists on Crate & Barrel and Macy’s show they had everything they needed to start a new life together, from ice buckets to cups and plates to corkscrews.

There were also more upscale items like a Vera Wang 65-piece flatware collection for $225.

MailOnline’s calls to Miss Petitto’s cellphone went unreturned,

A man who answered Miss Sannuti’s cellphone, but declined to give his name, said: ‘Nicole is doing fine, as best she can. Thanks for your concern’.

FARIDKOT: Two days after TOI published a report on the callous way in which Ferozepur range DIG P S Umranangal and Faridkot SSP Gurinder Singh Dhillon revealed the identity of a minor rape victim at a press meet by releasing her photographs, the Punjab government on Thursday transferred the officers.

The two officers had released to the media photographs of the girl garlanding the accused Nishan Singh to claim that the minor had eloped with the accused. Some other pictures of the girl and Nishan in wedding dress were also given to newspapers.

The police are yet to trace the girl, who was kidnapped from her house in Faridkot on September 24 by an armed gang of seven led by Nishan.Luxurious white, ivory designer ball gown wedding dress at chapel train is the best for church wedding occasions.

Angry over the police failure to nab the culprits, residents in the area had formed a Gundagardi Virodhi Saanjhi Action Committee and had been staging demonstrations in the town for the past few weeks. The action committee has also called a band on Friday.

The committee had flayed the two officers for revealing the identity of the girl and had alleged that this was a ploy by the cops to hide their incompetency to solve the case.

The government order said Gurpreet Singh Turr will take charge as Faridkot SSP in place of Dhillon. However, the government has not given a posting for Dhillon yet.The mother of the bride dresses from Belk are elegant and tasteful.

Umranangal has been shifted as DIG, border area.

The girl, a class X student of a convent school, was earlier kidnapped and raped by Nishan on June 25. She was traced to a Mohali house on July 27 and in her statement to the police she had said Nishan had raped her and forced her to pose for photographs. After a medical examination, the police had slapped rape charges against Nishan in that case.

Even though the cops were hunting for him, Nishan reached the girl's house on September 24 and assaulted her parents before fleeing with her. The girl and the accused are still untraced.

Ngeh had asked whether it was right for the government to respond to the LGBT issue based on religious doctrine.

The deputy minister had earlier said that the government is serious in tackling the issue of LGBT as it went against the constitution of the country, which states that Islam is the official federal religion.

She said that through the many government initiatives, including rehabilitation and other programs, “many have returned to the path,” an idea that has LGBT activists angered.

“We see that LGBT happens following what is happening in Europe. It is not only individual but a movement. They are being mobilized to come out, as if they have been oppressed, on the excuse that their human rights have been taken away,” she added.

Police are looking for a woman who brazenly swiped an expensive wedding dress from a New Jersey shop.

She even had a group of friends and a young child in on the act.

Sanh Truong, owner of the Seng Couture shop in Fanwood, said the $5,000 dress was stolen over a week ago, when the woman came into the store with her friends.

"We put them in the fitting room to try on -- they had a kid, they had a teenager -- they were there to distract us," said Chamroen Seng, co-owner and Truong's wife.

The woman even had a girl who appeared to be her daughter involved.

"The kid asked for my wife to go buy pizza and go buy a drink," said Truong. "We say, 'This is a boutique store, not a restaurant.'"

Truong said about six women in the group stayed in the dressing room, distracting his wife's view.

Then one of them -- the thief -- emerged, opened the door and walked out of the store with the dress.

The girl ran behind her.

The woman appeared to be paying no attention to the child.

"I guess she was more worried about stealing the dress than her own child, or whosever child that is," said Fanwood Police Chief Richard Trigo. "It's pretty disturbing."

The latest in long sleeved bridal couture

It's understandable that after the Duchess of Cambridge's stunning bridal gown made its debut to the world, long-sleeved wedding dresses have made a grand return.

From their past reputation of being conservative and modest, they are now readily positioned in the height of fashion and are set to reign in popularity for many years to come.

Now demure, princess-like long-sleeved numbers exuding elegance and sophistication have made their way down the 2013 catwalk, and it's only a matter of time before they make their way up the aisle.

Lace has also become a favourite with designers. After Alexander Mcqueen's creation for Kate on her wedding day,Luxurious white, ivory designer ball gown wedding dress at chapel train is the best for church wedding occasions. with its exquisite hand-embroidered and appliquéd lace, its popularity has soared.

Ideal for the colder seasons, swap strapless or sweetheart necklines for a daringly beautiful, long-sleeved look.

For every bride the wedding dress is the most important dress they'll ever wear and it's likely that you've been dreaming about yours since you were a little girl.

Empire line gowns have been growing in popularity over the past few years, exuding romance and flattering for most body shapes and sizes. However, if you're getting married in autumn then just the thought of a strapless gown will make you shiver, so it will come as a relief that dresses with sleeves have been a hit on the catwalk since Kate walked down the aisle in her Sarah Burton number.

From wispy pieces of chiffon to full length sleeves, this look is also perfect for the bride who isn't completely happy with their arms, and in light and delicate fabrics, sleeves can be just as romantic.

While the most important pieces of jewellery you'll be wearing are, of course, your wedding band and engagement ring, accessorising your dress is important and will complete the look.

It's likely the style of gown you have chosen will dictate what jewellery will be most flattering; with strapless dresses, a glittering necklace adds interest and detail to an otherwise bare area and when teamed with a simple tiara can result in a glamorous look.

Alternatively, with one shouldered styles or higher necklines choose statement earrings which will ensure you still have some sparkle around your face and avoid the look appearing too busy.

If you have chosen a strapless dress why not pick a bracelet that will compliment your rings and show them off as best as possible.

When choosing your wedding attire, don't forget the lingerie. The right pieces can ensure your dress fits and hangs perfectly, and will make you feel sexy all day long on the lead up to your wedding night. We have Halter Wedding Dresses with color and halter bridal gowns at low online prices. With so many options on offer, there's something for everyone and every style.

While she kept her hands in pockets for a while, the actress was also photographed wearing an enormous, oval-cut pink and white diamond ring on her left hand. People magazine said it is her engagement ring, adding that it was created by celebrity jeweler Lorraine Schwartz. Her spokesperson had no immediate comment.

Lively actress completed her look with grey nail polish and silver Christian Louboutin pumps.

Lively and Reynolds reportedly tied the knot in September in South Carolina. The two have not commented about the issue publicly and never announced their engagement to the press. "Access Hollywood" reported that Lively's publicist "insisted no wedding questions be asked" at the Chanel event.

While the designer's celebration marked Lively's first major public appearance since they married, the pair appeared together at another wedding - Amber Tamblyn's to David Cross. Fellow guest DJ Questlove Tweeted photos of them at the event, calling them "The Reynolds."

Just married: Blake Lively looked incredible in silver and pink at the Chanel Fine jewellery 80th anniversary of the 'Bijoux De Diamants' collection tonight

Lively left her beloved at home for the 80th anniversary of the Bijoux De Diamants collection tonight but interestingly for a newly married woman, she showed no bling of her own.

However, last month, Blake debuted the $2million pink diamond - roughly 12 carat total weight depending on the way it was cut - while caught kissing her new hubby shortly after the ceremony.

A spokedperson for jeweller Lorraine Schwartz, who worked with Ryan to design the ring, said he pulled out all the stops to ensure that the jewel was the perfect choice for Blake's dainty fingers.

'Ryan chose Lorraine Schwartz to help him find a flawless, light pink oval diamond. They worked together to design a custom setting in rose gold and pave diamonds with a nod to deco.'

Perfect from every angle: Blake spun around for photographers to show off her stunning dress

Flawless: Blake's dress had a lovely chain detail and she wore shoes by her favourite designer, Louboutin

In fact, the actress' beautiful dress at the Big Apple event featured pockets for her to slip her hands into, so her all important ring was well out of view.

Not a surprising move for someone who didn't announce her engagement and who planned an intensely private, but apparently lavish wedding, last month.

The actress, 25, wore a custom Marchesa dress created by her close friends, Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig, with shoes by her favourite footwear designer, Christian Louboutin.

The ballgown featured hand-draped silk tulle bodice which was tripped with crystal and rose gold embroidery.

Girl got style: Everyone would love to see Blake's wedding dress, but she's keeping it private

Her bridesmaids wore blush silk chiffon confections with crystal detailing by the same label.

The groom, 35, and his party all wore Burberry suits trimmed with leather braces designed by his pal, Christopher Bailey.

The pair exchanged exchanged vows at the Boone Hall Plantation Charleston, South Carolina, which famously appeared in Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling's romantic movie,Internet wholesale underwear Socks and Boxers. The Notebook.

'From the heartfelt ceremony to the fun-filled carnival hour and elegant reception, it was a truly enchanting celebration,D emetrios has unveiled the catalog of his collection of wedding dresses made in china wholesale.' according to Martha Stewart Weddings magazine, which helped organise the event along with local wedding planner Tara Guérard.

The ceremony was held in a 'rustic barn' and the reception was held in a white tent at the plantation.

British singer Florence Welch is said to have performed three songs at the after-party. Blake counts her as a close friend and she even appeared on an episode of Gossip Girl back in 2011.One affordable one shoulder wedding dresses up Games, Dress up games for people who love fashion.

Style in spades: Diane Kruger looked incredible in her blue bandeau number paired with Louboutin Pigalle heels, while Elle Fanning teamed her black dress with a quirky hat and loafers

The couple have only been dating for a year and had not even announced they were engaged.

Despite high-profile romances with Gossip Girl co-star Penn Badgley - whom she dated for three years - and a brief flirtation with Leonardo DiCaprio, it is the first time Blake has been married.

Waterproof mascara

Even if you’re not a blubbering bride at the altar when exchanging vows, waterproof mascara will come into its own when the wedding reception comes around – champagne and loved ones often ends in tears; either as a result of hysterical laughter or ‘I love you sooo much’ drunken sobbing. No bride should be seen sporting panda eyes or the dishevelled drifter look on their wedding day, so water and smudge-proof mascara is a must.

Flat shoes

Yes, we’re sure they did cost you an arm and a leg and that you’ve always dreamed of owning a pair of heels like these, but when it comes to boogying the night away on the dance floor post-nuptials, you’ll be in need of foot attire that’s a little more comfy. You want to bust your best moves, right? Skyscraper heels, as gorgeous as they look, will hinder you and maybe even hurt you as soon as you break into a leg pop. Invest in some pretty ivory-coloured flat sandals with embellishment, or how about foldable ballet pumps that can easily slot into a bridesmaid’s purse?

Mini deodorant

Meeting and greeting, being the centre of attention and exchanging such crucial vows – wedding days come with a lot of pressure and with pressure often comes sweat! (Sorry, but it’s true). Avoid any sweat patches or far-from-fragrant scents emerging by keeping a small deodorant to hand. Some brides arrange for a selection of cosmetics and toiletries to be kept in the ladies’ toilets for bridesmaids and guests to dip into, so deodorant could always be part and parcel of these items.

Plasters

If you don’t invest in some appropriate flats to match your wedding dress, a staple component to your must-have wedding day kit should be plasters. Blisters where your to-die-for heels have rubbed your danced-out feet are about as welcome as a crying child during your wedding vows, so be equipped with plasters or blister cushions to allow you to dance through the night. For brides wearing a corseted wedding dress,D emetrios has unveiled the catalog of his collection of wedding dresses made in china wholesale. plasters may also come in handy for any rubbing around the bust or hips too – genius!

Mini sewing kit

For any wedding dress emergencies such as slack seams,Internet wholesale underwear Socks and Boxers. loose beads or fraying hems, a mini sewing kit could just save the day. Some are as small as a credit card so your groom could take care of it in his blazer pocket. Even if you’re not a dab hand at sewing, there’s sure to be a wedding guest who can whip your buttons back into shape or fix a falling hemline. Failing that, as long as you have a safety pin you’ll be fine and dandy.

Special helper

Every bride needs that one special someone on her wedding day. No, we’re not talking about the groom; we’re talking about the bride’s special helper. That bridesmaid, friend or relative who’s there to straighten your train and veil; to be your make-up spotter (“oh you just need a touch up here,One affordable one shoulder wedding dresses up Games, Dress up games for people who love fashion. honey”); and that person who can hold your dress up when you go to the toilet is essential.

Compact mirror

No girl’s emergency kit is complete without a compact mirror. There to reveal any spinach-in-teeth dramas, to correct smudged make-up or spot dishevelled hair,When it comes to buying the stunning One-Shoulder Wedding Dresses, you should not miss millybridal. this is a must-have tool for your wedding day kit. One that combines a hair brush is a double hit – they are foldable and will fit in even the smallest of clutch bags.

Camera

Don’t just rely on your photographer and other wedding guests to capture your big day on camera – make sure you make some memories of your own. Having your camera phone, small digital or disposable camera to hand will enable you to snap some really personal and off the cuff photographs throughout the day – from spontaneous ‘getting ready’ snaps while still in your nightwear, heartfelt photos in the car with your dad on the way to the ceremony and hilarious dancing pictures later on when the tunes are pumping.

Blotting paper

Similar to the deodorant, blotting paper will come in handy when you’re faced (get it?) with an oily complexion as a result of the nerves or extra make-up you’re wearing. This absorbent cosmetic paper will help remove any unwanted shiny patches on your nose, forehead and chin so that you can pose confidently for every photograph, and look glowing, not greasy. Say cheese!

Wipes

Wet wipes or baby wipes are handy at the best of times, but on your wedding day they can really help to get you out of some sticky situations (the puns just keep coming!) From excitable flower girls who have gone overboard on the chocolate fountain, then decide to give you a hug, to drunken spills of champagne on your shoes – wet wipes can save the day! And if you forget your waterproof mascara, they’ll resolve any make-up dilemmas too.

If you're planning a wedding near Halloween, why not have some fun with it? We're not saying you have to wear a black dress and decorate with cobwebs (but if that’s what you’re into, then more power to you), but here are some fun, playful ways to incorporate Halloween into your wedding instead of ignoring it altogether.

Atmosphere:

Use fall flowers in your bouquet, but have a surprising element such as a ghost peeking out from beneath the flowers. While you're at it, give the groom and his groomsmen Halloween flare by using unique boutonnieres.

Place some decorated pumpkins in easily overlooked areas. Try carving the names of the newlyweds and the wedding date into one of the prettiest pumpkins.

Dinner:

An autumnal twist on typical wedding dishes is a must. These meals are hearty, delicious, and elegant.Off-Shoulder Wedding Dresses Incorporate pumpkin and nuts to really warm the heart, with dishes like pumpkin risotto served in a hollowed-out pumpkin or butternut squash soup with roasted walnuts. For some other great ideas, look here.

Drinks:

Cocktails are liquid candy for adults, so use the bar to incorporate the Halloween spirit.

If you are having a do-it-yourself bar at your reception, set up a "pick your poison" drink station offering tantalizing concoctions. Make sure to have a cauldron filled with toxic mixtures.

Dessert is where your childish side can come out and play, so have your favorite childhood treats and candy on offer for all to enjoy.wholesale underwear

Serve customizable caramel apples and allow your guests to coat the caramel with treats such as sprinkles or chocolate candies.

Set up a candy station with bowls full of all your favorite candy and let guests go "trick-or-treating." These trick-or-treat bags would make great party favors.

Instead of having chocolate-covered strawberries for the bride and groom, have strawberry ghosts. Just dip the strawberries in melted white chocolate and paint scary "boo" faces in milk chocolate.

Costumes:
Don't let your wedding turn into a costume party, but a fun way to let your guests dress up, even for just a few minutes, is to have a photo booth.oscar dresses 2012 Provide lots of funny props and dress-up gear such as boas and crowns so your guests can let loose by becoming witches, queens, and ghosts. Plus, the photos will make great souvenirs.ball gown wedding dress

Another way to incorporate Halloween costumes is to turn your wedding into a masquerade ball and have all of your guests wear masks.

Halloween weddings can be wacky, but they can also be romantic and chic with the right details Place blood-red roses on place settings or use a burnt-edged book for the guest book with a vintage-looking feather pen. Candles create a mysterious and romantic feel and can be placed on tables in black votives, or placed in chandeliers.

These romantic and fun touches will make sure your Halloween-themed wedding is your big day and not a kid’s party. Skip the costumes and paper bats and go for elegant accents and sinful cocktails.

No offense to Cinderella, but she sort of had it backwards. The shoe should be at the end of the to-do list for a wedding fairy tale.

After the engagement, first consider the venue, then the dress — then the shoes and other accessories, wholesale underwear experts say. Collectively, they should have a complementary vibe.

"It's all a picture that comes together," says gown designer Reem Acra.

No flip-flops for a formal setting and dress, and satin pumps would be silly on the beach.

Tanya Dukes, accessories editor at Brides magazine, suggests these practical questions:

— How high for the heel? Think of the proportions of the dress, how tall you'll stand and if you are used to wearing heels at all, she says.

— Is the wedding outside? A lawn wedding, for example, could be trouble for a spiky heel.Off-Shoulder Wedding Dresses A wedge would fare better.

— How formal is the occasion? Fabric matters here. "Satin is the traditional choice, and it's a safe bet," Dukes says.uniform costume

And then there's deciding whether you ever want to wear the shoes again.

"Most women don't wear their bridal shoes again not because they're not wearable, but because they're a memento," says footwear designer Stuart Weitzman, who got his start in business in bridal more than 25 years ago. "I make every bridal shoe in dyeable satin, so you could wear them again, but you'd lose the memento, and then you'd wear those dyed shoes once and ruin those 'bridal shoes.' Most women never throw them out."

Weitzman says his success in this market is due partly to an observation by Judith Leiber, founder of the famous beaded bag collection, who noted an "ugly bluish tone" to most wedding shoes. He created a pair out of Swiss lace, won a design award for them and the rest is history.

He sees as much variety in wedding-shoe styles as he does on the street: Women want sandals,Christmas Costume stilettos, platforms and lace booties, but the traditional pump is the most popular.

Shoes often spend most of the big day covered by the gown's hemline, but they can be a glimpse of the bride's personality. The moment the shoes will probably get the most attention is right before she kicks them off to dance, says Acra with a laugh.

ON April 19, 1947, Joan Rathbone wore a beautiful dress made entirely of Nottingham lace when she married Ken Simpson.

"It was a fantastic day, it really was. There was still snow on the ground but the sun shone," says 88-year-old Joan, of Melbury Road, Bilborough.

The couple were married at St Mary's Church, in Bulwell, before a reception at a church hall in Broomhill Road.

They didn't go on their honeymoon straight away, instead choosing to visit Bournemouth the following year.

"And that's when I wore my bikini," says Joan, smiling.

Since that day, the dress has been stored in an old dry-cleaning box, bearing a date from 1938. As far as Joan can recall, in that time it's been out of the box only once, to show her daughter Yvonne, now 57, but that was at least 50 years ago.

"I can't even remember when I packed it," says Joan. "I must have packed it up after I got married and after that it's always been at the bottom of my wardrobe."

It was a recent article in the Post about modern-day Nottingham lace wedding dresses by Kula Tsurdiu that prompted Joan to think about her dress. She invited the Post along to unwrap it from the box with her.

Sadly, Ken died 22 years ago but Joan's first thoughts upon opening the box and seeing her wedding dress for the first time in more than 50 years were of her husband.

"Oh Kenny boy, look at that – it's beautiful," says Joan.

"I didn't realise it was like this – look at the detail. The shape of the dress is lovely, even right down to the sleeves."

Made entirely of lace, the full-length dress has buttons all down the front, a Peter Pan collar, ruched shoulders, long sleeves and a small train.

Despite spending the past 50-odd years in a box, it isn't fragile and the lace is still in perfect condition.

Joan bought the lace from the old Nottingham Market, near to where Oceana nightclub is now.

"There were lots of lace stalls there and me and my mum went down there and bought all the lace,'' she says.

"It was a massive market because, of course, we hadn't got the Victoria Centre then.uniform costume That was a fantastic market. All the lace was from Nottingham because we'd still got all the factories."

Although she can't recall how much the lace for the dress cost, she doesn't believe it would have been expensive, especially compared to the average cost of wedding dresses these days.

Joan always had an eye for style and she designed the dress but it was family friend Ada Tippin who crafted it by hand. Joan says: "She was ever so nice, Ada. She said, 'you get me the material and I'll make it for you, Joan'.Christmas Costume

"I do remember that I chose what I wanted. And you were all covered up then from top to bottom; really well wrapped up."

Joan spent her life growing up around lace, which is why it was fitting for her to wear it on her big day.

Her mother, Lillian Rathbone, worked at Birkin's lace factory when she was young and then when she had Joan and brother Harry, Lillian used to take rolls of lace home to repair.

Joan says: "My brother and I used to be in the dining room on the table and we used to go through it and tie knots where the little holes were so my mum knew where they were."

Joan and Ken met on New Year's Eve 1945 at the Crown pub, in Main Street, Bulwell, when Ken was on leave from the Royal Marines.

When he was posted away again, they wrote to each other and, after he was discharged in May 1945, they started going out. In June 1946, they were engaged.

The couple had more than 40 years together before Ken died. He spent his working life as a rep for Cheshire Carpets.

After being employed at a munitions factory during the war, Joan carried on working, first at the Co-op in Bulwell and then as a hairdresser at Joyce Jackson's, also in Bulwell.

At her home, Joan is surrounded by memories of their years together.

She says: "Lots of people don't know how lovely Nottingham lace is. It's so beautiful and it's really good quality."

Joan's dress, which looks almost as new as when it was put in a box in 1947, is testament to that.

A sick husband wasn't going to keep Jana Wesson from missing opening weekend of the 38th annual Texas Renaissance Festival.

The 39-year-old said she's traveled to Todd Mission annually from Houston for more than a decade for the food, entertainment and, of course, company.

“I've come up with a lot of good friendships out here,” Wesson said, adding she's visited renaissance festivals in Louisiana, Minnesota and Maryland. “It's a community. There really are a lot of nice, nice people that come to the fair.”

The festival is about getting into the spirit of it all, Wesson said, adding her fair name is Var Greyshadow. She sported a leather “Avenger” look, with feathers protruding from her hat and a sword at her side — her standard outfit, but she said she'll change it occasionally You can have a Christmas Costume to enhance the enjoyment of your holiday season.to match whatever the theme is that weekend.

The festival opened Saturday and will run every weekend through Nov. 25, featuring about 500 costumed performers on 17 stages with 400 shops on the grounds between Magnolia and Plantersville. The upcoming weekend's theme will be “1001 Dreams,” featuring Queen Titania and her Fairy Court, described as a magical weekend of wizards, elves and fairies. Other theme weekends includes pirates, Rome, barbarians and more.

'Realistic atmosphere'
Cat Dye, a 56-year-old Houston resident wearing purple and orange flowers in her hair, has made the annual trek for two decades.

“You feel like you've gone back in time. It envelops you. You feel like you're a part of the era and can escape reality,” Dye said.

Dye walked the fairgrounds Sunday on a date with her husband, both of whom were dressed in renaissance-like accessories collected over the years. She said her next trip will be with their entire family. It's an event to look forward to all year, she said.

There's entertainment they won't miss, including the comedian Ded Bob; the Fire, Whip Show, which combines stunts and tricks with comedy and historical stories; Birds of Prey show, which showcases hawks, eagles, owls and vultures; and their favorite, the French performer Arsene, who has been performing worldwide since 1976. Dye said she's traveled to Baltimore and California for renaissance festivals, but “nothing compared to this.”

The permanent buildings at the festival grounds create a more realistic atmosphere, she said.

“You actually feel like you're really here, whereas some of the other ones you feel like they've thrown something up,” she said.

With an outfit straight from the TV show Monster High, 11-year-old Stephanie Lovelace, of Conroe, kicked off her first trip at the festival with a funnel cake.

“I like all the characters and the dresses,” said Stephanie, who wore a lightening bolt belt with a black and white polka-dotted tie.

Nine-year-old William Rencon sat beside her in a red and black jester costume.

“I decided to wear this to act like my story was I was a terrible jester so the king killed me,” he said showing his skull-like mask.

William said he looks forward to the festival and seeing “all the olden day stuff” and, of course, the food.

'Feels so great'
Nicole Kelly, 21, of Houston, and Scott Nelson, 27, of College Station, said they “practically live here” and plan to attend each weekend through November.

Kelly said she looks forward to the festival and being able to talk to complete strangers through the bond of the love of the fair.

Nelson, who made his costume, said it originated as a vampire hunter and has evolved into a pirate over the years.

“It's impossible to be upset or down here. Everything just feels so great,” Nelson said. “The food is amazing. I literally set aside money through the year just to buy the food here because it's so good.”

Kye Rymer, 25,We have a huge variety of uniform costume to buy in stock! and Samantha Krueger, 23, both of Tomball, said they enjoy seeing the variety of costumes attendees wear to the fair — among their favorites: Ghostbusters, Captain Jack Sparrow and anyone sporting chainmail armor.

“Pretty much, if there's a theme, I'm going to be here in that theme,” Krueger said.

Rick Hollingsworth, 52, of Albuquerque, N.M., said two weeks ago he was in Santa Fe for renaissance festival. He and his wife, Daphne Hollingsworth, 45, have traveled to fairs in Georgia and Colorado Springs, but nothing compares to this one.

“It's actually built for a renaissance fair, whereas some you go to they have to set up tents,” she said. “You walk into this and you step out of time.”

The couple came dressed as pirates Sunday but said on Saturday she was a wench and he was one of The Three Musketeers.

With flowers in her hair and wearing her boyfriend's dark green cape to keep warm, Emily Baucum, 15, of Sugarland, said she's been coming to the festival since she was a child.

Her boyrfriend, Atticus Finch, 16, of Sugarland, said he's been buying pieces of his outfit over the years to create his desired look.

The couple held hands as they walked through the fairgrounds, the first of many trips this season, they said.

“The atmosphere is really cool,” Finch said. “When you show up and everyone's in costume, it's really cool to be a part of that.”

The "Jersey Shore" star gained 35 pounds while pregnant, but got by with larger sizes, empire waists, and dresses. Finding the perfect wedding dress can be one of the most stressful parts of planning a wedding, and when you’re looking at plus size wedding dresses, that stress can increase as the number of choices available in your size diminishes. Luckily there are more and more high street retailers realising that there is a huge market for plus size wedding dresses, and here at Plus Size Tall, we’ve compiled our top seven tips for finding your dream dress.

There are plenty of options out there for those who are happy to search, and it is best to give yourself as much time as possible so that you can get the dress tailored if needs be.

1. Good underwear is the building block to the perfect dress.

As with every outfit, having good underwear is the all-important first step. Whether you want something which lifts, sucks, tucks or all of the above, there is a bridal range which will cater to your need. There is a misconception that bridal underwear is designed to be pretty and floaty.china wholesale bridesmaid dresses This can be true for the skimpier items, but for the most part bridal underwear consists of gravity defying strapless bras and Basques with more pull then ten pairs of Spanx! We particularly love the Panache Evie Bridal Basque (46) from Simply Be which is both beautiful and feminine with pretty, floral embroidered lace. The Basque has under-wired cups, suspender attachments and adjustable straps to give you several options of how it best fits with your chosen dress. It’s also very important to have a dress fitting in your chosen underwear as some of it – corsets especially – will drastically change the shape of your body.
2. Know your body shape.

Different body shapes will suit different types of plus size wedding dresses, so it is helpful to have a rough idea of what shape suits you and what parts of you body you want to flaunt or hide. An A-Line shape is flattering on most figures as it skims over the hips, whilst full ballgown skirts will add roundness to the area. However don’t be scared to break the rules – the best thing to do is to try on a range of styles, and see which ones makes you melt when you view your reflection.

3. Weight Changes.swim bikini

Whilst planning your dream wedding, there is a real chance of your weight fluctuating due to stress and if you’re buying your dress early on, this is something important to keep in mind. Of course it is always advisable to visit a tailor to get your chosen dress fitted properly, but you don’t want to have too many big changes to make in the final run-up to your wedding.

Additionally, it is inadvisable to buy a dress several dresses to small with the aim of “fitting into it”. Not only is this bad for your self-confidence, you really don’t want to add something else to your list of things to worry about. And if by the end, you haven’t fit into the dress you’re stuck as it’s much harder to take a dress out, than it is to take one in.
4. Seasonal Fabrics.

The choice of dress fabric is often in keeping with seasonal trends.ball gown wedding dress Lace and lighter weight fabrics are perfect for the warmer weather, whilst heavier dresses made from fabrics such as ribbed silk are much more suited to Autumn and Winter. The weight of the dress is just as important as the fabric, and it is good to keep in mind that additional adornments such as beading can add a substantial amount of additional heaviness. Most brides will be wearing their dress for at least five hours, so you need to ensure that you will be comfortable standing in it for that long.
5. Cover-Ups.

As well as the underwear and plus size wedding dresses themselves, cover-ups are another essential tip, especially in the Winter. Whether you want to feel a little more covered, or simply want to add some more drama or warmth, a cover-up can transform the feel of your chosen look greatly. For a Winter wedding, we love this Snow Queen style Ivory Stand Up Collar Bolero (45) from Début at Debenhams.cheap demetrios wedding dresses made in china
6. Tailoring.

Perhaps the most important piece of advice given to a plus size bride is to not buy a dress just because it comes in your size. If you’re not in love with it, keep looking. Remember you can have your dress tailored to fit you perfectly if required. Don’t let the sales-clerk push you into a particular style and if you’re visiting a shop in person, try to take a friend or two with you as back-up and to offer a second opinion. You must feel comfortable and special in your chosen dress, something which should be non-negotiable in your plus size wedding dress search. The way a garment fits can make all the difference in the world to how you look AND feel.
7. Comfort.

Even the most stunning dress in the world won’t look great if you’re constantly pulling it up or tugging it down with a stressed and uncomfortable look on your face. You’re going to be stood in the that dress on full display for quite some time, so consider whether you can stand, sit, get in and out of cars, walk and move around with ease.

When trying on your dress, don’t just look in the mirror standing up. Sit down, check the back and make sure that there are no bulges or rolls on display. Many dresses are laced up, so the dress should fit you perfectly with capes and boleros also a good aid in hiding anything which you’re not happy with being seen.

If the thought of being stood in your heavy dress all night fills you with dread, then bring a second evening dress to change into once you’ve arrived at your reception and had your photos and first dance taken care of. Then you should be free to enjoy the rest of your special day in comfort and style.

From a perch on the living room sofa, it may seem like Danielle Colding found design stardom this past summer. The 36-year-old former ballet dancer did beat out 11 hopefuls to earn the top spot in HGTV's annual reality competition; but for those who knew her previously (and for HuffPost, who got to know her during a three-hour shopping trip around New York City last month), Colding always was a "Design Star."

"I knew you'd win. I was following along the whole time," said a store employee at Area ID in New York City, who abandoned her post behind a computer to make her way over to Colding through the tightly packed vintage furnishings.

Colding not only finds adoring fans at the 436-square-foot shop at 262 Elizabeth St., but also discovers a selection of mid-century modern treasures and lavish, custom-made fur throws,Beach Wedding Dresses like the indigo fox piece awaiting approval by rapper Kanye West.

"I wouldn't use her for everyone. There are certain people who are going to get it," Colding said of Area ID's collection and its curator, Inga Davidsson. As Davidsson accompanies Colding around her shop, the fashion designer-turned-collector muses on her trips to Morocco and France and her studies in millinery at New York's Fashion Institute of Technology.

Davidsson's reference to fashion brings the shopping trip full circle, ratifying Colding's fashion-inspired approach to interior design. "I'm a lover of fashion," Colding declared earlier in the day, walking through the newly expanded studio of Leah C. Couture Millinery, where Colding goes not only to purchase new additions for her collection of royal wedding-esque fascinator hats (one of which she plans to wear when she hosts HGTV's "Celebrity Holiday Homes" later this year), but to add to an arsenal of fanciful ideas for the homes she designs.

"I like a layered look and something interesting," she said, recalling her first purchase from Leah C. -- a black beret with a leather tassel that she paired with a striped dress for Russell Simmons' "Art For Life" event four or five years back. "It was a great fashion moment for me .wholesale underwear.. The same thing goes when I'm designing a house. My clients have ten different sides to them ... I try to bring out those layers," Colding said.

Her muse, Leah C., a character just as colorful as Inga (minus the poppy-red lips), chimed in. "Enough with this casual stuff. You can look good and be comfortable at the same time," she said,Christmas Costume describing precisely the kind of easy elegance Colding found at the final stop of the day, Clic gallery and bookstore.

Proprietor Christiane Celle exudes that offhand stylishness. In her thick French accent she explained the evolution of Clic from a bookstore spin-off of her Calypso St. Barth brand to what's now a hybrid of the two. "I was a fashion stylist before, but thought it was better if I did something related to photography and books. I started in 2008 with a little bookstore around the corner and then from the bookstore, the gallery. Every month we have something different," Celle said, rattling off the gallery's rotating lineup of photographers on exhibit.

A new boutique-style annex harkens back to Celle's fashion-styling roots and offers an opportunity to wrap up the shopping expedition.

Colding, on the other hand,One-Shoulder Wedding Dresses wraps up a black-and-gold feather necklace in another successful day of scouting.

I HAD expected to keep mum about my problem with Michelle Obama until after the election, but my frustration has gotten the better of me. I can contain it no longer.

I refer not to her politics, but to her arms — her bare, toned, elegant arms. Enough!

The first lady has made it unacceptable for women to appear in public with covered arms. However innocently,Christmas Costume however unwittingly, that is what she has done. Those bare, toned, elegant arms of hers have spawned an epidemic of sleevelessness, exposing arms, arms,One-Shoulder Wedding Dresses arms, and not all of them toned and elegant.

This should not come as a surprise. Not all women are blessed with the first lady's workout discipline or genetic gifts. That is especially true of most of us over the age of,Beach Wedding Dresses say, 50, or, to be more liberal, 50ish. Or, to be more candid, older.

To us, the naked arm taunts — as tall taunts short, as lithe taunts square.

This I know because I am significantly beyond the age of 50 or even 50ish, and began anticipating upper arm betrayal many years before reality struck. I spent untold hours swimming (emphasis on the backstroke), lifting weights, struggling through bench dips, perfecting triceps push-ups, speed-walking with flexed hands pumping backward — all in a very determined effort to keep my arms looking as they did when I was 20. In fact, I started doing all of the above when I was about 20. Once, I let my enthusiasm spill over and shouted “Yay!” when a workout instructor announced she was moving from biceps curls to triceps kickbacks. My outburst drew several bemused looks.wholesale underwear

Of course, you know where this is going. My triceps have not taken kindly to my disciplinary regime. Let me put it another way: my exercises have failed. A bona fide boomer, I now have the very same arms I remember seeing on my mother, even though she was a powerful swimmer all of her life who had hoped to compete in the 1936 Summer Olympics — until Hitler made that a most unwise aspiration for a Jewish New Yorker.

Aging as one's mother did is a fact of life, and I should have expected it. I guess I did. Years ago, a physical therapist predicted as much when I asked her to recommend especially rigorous exercises for my recalcitrant triceps. “Did your mother have, forgive the phrase, flabby upper arms?” she asked. “Did your grandmother? Then, sorry, you will.”

O.K., not the worst thing in the world, not by a long shot. But still, hard to take in this world of nonstop arms. Bare arms now often trump cleavage, have you noticed? What woman on the red carpet at this year's Emmys dared hide her shoulders? (Other than Julianne Moore — for reasons known only to her and her stylist — and Mayim Bialik, an observant Jew who covered up pretty much everything.)

TLC's “Say Yes to the Dress,” an ode to wedding-dress angst, is a virtual parade of arms, some well-cut, some not even close. I did not even have to look at the current issue of Vogue to know that arms would dominate it — in this case belonging to Keira Knightley. Surely Lady Gaga allowed herself to be pictured on the September cover wearing a semi-sleeved gown just to underscore her fondness for being different.

And when was it, exactly, that female reporters on television adopted slavish sleevelessness as their compulsory fashion statement? Mika Brzezinski seems to favor the look year-round, or close to it, sometimes returning from commercial breaks with a protective sweater. Now, she happens to be able to hold her own in the arms department. May I suggest that some of her colleagues, a growing cohort of copycat arm-flashers, might want to check the mirror before again preening sans sleeves?

I realize that modesty is now a quaint notion in most endeavors, and that quite a few women (not all — please hold your e-mail blasts) who call themselves reporters have long faced the television cameras determined to advertise attributes other than their brains. But I digress; back to bare arms.

First ladies often set fashion trends, since no matter what their other accomplishments, the country obsesses about their appearance. Nothing new there. Women tried Mamie Eisenhower's bangs, Nancy Reagan's favorite color (red), Hillary Rodham Clinton's headband (and senatorial pantsuits) and, of course, Jackie Kennedy's everything. Every woman wanted to be Jackie, to wear her pillbox hats, trim A-line dresses and chic suits.

The bride: Kristin Dear Sharp, 33, grew up in Catonsville. She works as a bartender at Hamilton Tavern and Annabel Lee Tavern in Baltimore. Her mother, Linda Dear, is a real estate agent, and her father, Robert Dear, is a mortgage lender.

The groom: William Sharp, 37, was born in Missouri and is the lead artist for Croydon Finishing, a decorative architectural finishing company based in Alabama. His father, John Sharp, owns Croydon Finishing and is retired from the military. His mother, Cindy Sharp, is retired from IBM, where she worked as an education specialist.

Their story: Kristin and William, both music lovers, first met in 1999 through a mutual friend in Asheville, N.C. William's band, Granola Funk Express, was playing, and the friend introduced him to Kristin after the show.

"The first time I saw her, I had a huge crush on her, but she was with another guy," says William.

They kept in touch throughout the years, and after hanging out together at a concert, Kristin confessed she had a crush on William as well.

Last summer, the couple became engaged in Ocean City during the bride's family's vacation.

"My parents said we were going down to the beach to take a family picture," Kristin says. "And I walked down to the beach, and there was a blanket, champagne and a ring.uniform costume He proposed on the beach. We had a really nice dinner and celebrated with my family for the rest of the week."

The ring: The couple designed Kristin's engagement ring — a white gold Tiffany-style six-prong diamond solitaire — with their friend, Megan Myrice, who is a jewelry designer in New York.

Myrice also designed the couple's wedding bands. The groom wore a palladium wedding band and the bride wore two wedding bands: a 14-karat yellow gold band for her husband and a 14-karat rose gold band for their 2 1/2-year-old daughter, Ava.

"One day I'm going to give it to her," says Kristin. "It has her birthday inscribed on the inside. The three different metals look very lovely together."

The place: About 130 guests attended the ceremony at the Upper Garden of the Evergreen Museum and Library in Baltimore. The reception was held at the Carriage House.

The couple's friend, Rabbi Jessy Gross, officiated at the nondenominational ceremony. Friends of the couple performed music during the ceremony.

Her dress: The bride wore a lace, cream-colored A-line gown by Augusta Jones from Betsy Robinson's Bridal Collection in Pikesville. The dress featured an exposed lace sweetheart neckline with cap sleeves and a silver beaded belt.

"It had a very vintage, romantic feel to it," says Kristin.

She also wore gray peep-toe Badgley Mischka shoes with gold brocade on top, earrings by Ben Amun and bracelets by Amrita Singh.

Bridesmaids' dresses: Because silver was the primary wedding color, Kristin asked her six bridesmaids to select silver cocktail dresses to wear for the wedding.

"Some were sequined dresses, some were silver metallic, some were beaded — they were just fun dresses!" she says. "My hope is they get to wear them for New Year's Eve, too."

Men's apparel: The groom and his six groomsmen wore classic black tuxedos from Jos. A. Bank Clothiers. William wore a black tie with a retro-inspired tie clip and the groomsmen wore bow ties. They all wore black-and-silver cufflinks.

The six-week-old Exchange Alley is a shadowy hideout in the East Village, featuring a gutsy New York-meets-New Orleans menu (jambalaya balls with dirty gravy, meatball parmigiano flatbread). Chef Paul Gerard, also a musician and writer, spent a decade in the Big Easy (the joint is named for the street he lived on) before returning to his native New York a few years ago. Partner Billy Gilroy of Employees Only custom-designed the space for the chef, adding touches of Raymond Chandler film noir and burlesque. Helena Christensen, Bebe Buell, Michael Stipe and David Johansen are among the nighttime figures who've stopped in so far. Soon, Exchange Alley will also be a daytime hangout, serving coffee and light fare. We chatted with Gerard about his wicked past and good survival instincts.

When you worked at Sweetwater in Brooklyn your name was Paul Williams but now it's Paul Gerard. Are you hiding out from somebody?

My name is Paul Gerard Williams and I started using Paul Gerard when I was in bands. I got sick of hearing: "Paul Williams? Oh, he wrote The Love Boat theme and hangs out with Muppets." It didn't fit the rock 'n' roll lifestyle.

You're more of an Anthony Bourdain-style, pirate chef.

Drugs, sex and rock-and-roll, that's what it was like when I started cooking in the '80s. A totally different world.

What made it change?

Culinary TV. Now you have people who are changing careers and think it'll be really fun to be a chef.uniform costume They don't want to put in the grueling time of being a line cook. They say they have a passion for cooking, but passion is fleeting. It's true love that fuels the fire. It's better now in some ways. With drugs, sex and rock 'n' roll, eventually things crash. People are more together now; it's more organized. There's no more yelling and pan-throwing. The edge is gone.

So you wouldn't want to be a celebrity chef.

Not particularly, unless it was on my terms. I did do a sizzle reel called Work the Line, produced by Anthony Bourdain's people, but I don't want to dance like a monkey.

I heard you used to have a bit of a drug problem.

Keith Richards was my idol ever since I was a kid but it's hard to live like that when you're not actually in the Rolling Stones. I very much lived an outlaw lifestyle. I had a lot of ups and downs but the one constant all the way through it was cooking. No matter how bad I was being I showed up the next day and said, 'Yes, Chef.' It's the one thing that kept me alive and sane and connected to reality. There's a saying about a drunk man holding onto one blade of grass to keep from falling off the earth.

As for the rock 'n' roll part, what was your band called?

Baby Strange, after a T-Rex song. I sang, played drums and bass and became the front man in high school.

Did you finish high school?

Kind of. I went to Catholic school and was supposed to take wood shop. I said no, I don't need it, see you later. I was young and arrogant. My general manager at the restaurant said, 'For such a smart guy that's the stupidest thing I've ever heard.' But I was a good student. I was so hungry for books, I got my education reading on the R train.

How did you give up the drugs?

I stopped using on an anniversary of 9/11. I was talking to a guy who was one of the first responders. He told me a story about another firefighter, that when the plane hit the tower he borrowed another guy's gear and went in. Later they found his wallet with a note to his family about how, if anything happened, they should know how much he loved them. My body went limp and I fell to the floor. It was an epiphany. I had never heard of somebody being so selfless. I realized I was running into burning buildings every day. I lived like a wild animal and then boom, the obsession went away. I never used again.

Okay, I understand. Exchange Alley has a great vibe.

I want it to be like what White Horse Tavern used to be, actors talking to writers and poets and musicians, a place to exchange ideas, listen to music, drink coffee or a bottle of wine at eleven in the morning. Fly your freak flag. I care about food and I get that it comes from farms but I don't need a wagon wheel on the wall to remind me. This is still New York.

Old New York is disappearing.

It breaks my heart a little, it's so gentrified now. It's not that I want crime and violence but I miss the danger. The other day in Union Square it was so refreshing to see a crazy person in a wedding dress.

Kate Middleton has another scandal on her hands.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge might be a little embarrassed after they accidentally wore traditional garb from the Cook Islands to an official Solomon Islands dinner during her and William’s recent royal tour through Asia.

But according to Marie Claire UK, a member of the couple’s official Solomon Islands welcoming committee went into the royals’ room to add a few more gifts — including a blue shirt and the pink dress from the Cook Islands, almost 3,000 miles away in the Pacific. Will and Kate then apparently thought THOSE clothes were the ones they were to don for the dinner, and the rest is history. (We assume everyone was too embarrassed or polite to tell them?)

J.K.This is our Top 15 Best oscar dresses 2012 featuring the most stunning. Rowling on 'The Casual Vacancy,' Using a Disguise, What She Learned from Michael Jackson

J.K. Rowling has found success few authors could dream of, but managing her worldwide fame is something the notoriously private author still wrestles with as she prepares for the release of her highly-anticipated adult novel, "The Casual Vacancy."

"I once have used a disguise," Rowling, 47, said in an exclusive and rare television interview with "Nightline" anchor Cynthia McFadden in Edinburgh, Scotland. "It was effective. It's how I managed to buy my own wedding dress. But I am not going to tell you what it was, in case I have to use it again. But it did work."

Rowling's Harry Potter books have sold more than 450 million copies, been translated into 73 languages and produced eight blockbuster movies, making her the first billionaire author. But the woman who built an empire using made-up words such as, "codswallop," "Hufflepuff" and "veritaserum" left that magical world behind to write about a much grittier place,This fantastic Off-Shoulder Wedding Dresses is achieved with the cute bodice and the flare full skirt. one called Pagford, where characters use words like "condom," "heroin" and "vagina."

The frenzy of interest in "The Causal Vacancy" has the publisher guarding it like the Sorcerer's Stone, keeping its plot under lock and key until its Sept. 27 release date. (McFadden and ABC News producers read the manuscript, kept protected in the publisher Little, Brown and Company's New York office).Luxurious white, ivory designer ball gown wedding dress at chapel train is the best for church wedding occasions.

JK Rowling on US Politics: 'We Built It' Made Her 'Uncomfortable' Watch Video

Rowling's world hasn't been ordinary for quite some time. She was on a train when she first dreamed up her idea for a story about the boy wizard in 1990. "The Casual Vacancy" came to her five years ago while she was on a private jet, touring the United States to promote the last Harry Potter book.

"When I first became, what I called rich, and actually, that was way before a lot of people would have called me rich, it was uncomfortable," she said. "The shift was so dramatic. I found it very disorientating.
