COUTURE season seems to be the perfect time to find inspiration when it comes to planning this summer's holidays – Giorgio Armani took us to Turkey yesterday and this afternoon Jean Paul Gaultier went to Morocco.

It was a rich and varied collection with each and every exit completely different to the one before it – so bulbous stripes led the way on dresses of asymmetric or off-the-shoulder style, followed by super-cinched tulle gowns heavily held at the waist by big gold belts, luxe skin tuxedos and tailoring, fancy-frilled maxi skirts, patchwork trousers and drapery with rich embroidery running throughout. And no look was complete without exotic chandelier earrings and hair piled up high to show it off to full effect. What exactly is a Sweetheart neckline dress? It was a collection layered with glamour and drama and plenty of sartorial narrative.

“It showed the range of Gaultier and it was very true to him – all of his favourites, the corsetry,” noted Vogue fashion director Lucinda Chambers. In fact, the only thing that was missing really was the blue and white stripy T-shirt (but we imagine we might see that in the ready-to-wear show).

But it was the end that made for a special high note – Gaultier sending out the traditional end-of-show wedding gown and from beneath all of its skirts hid four little children, all dressed in neon shades, who ran down the catwalk and clearly enjoyed every moment of doing so – the result of which got them a standing ovation. Our gorgeous dessy bridesmaid dresses are perfect for wedding, proms or any occasion when you need a little extra warmth and glamour. Plus waste diversion generates green jobs. For every 1,000 tonnes of waste we throw into a dump, we create one job. But if we take that same 1,000 tonnes of waste and divert it -- by reusing or recycling -- we create seven jobs.

Ontario desperately needs a zero waste strategy to save money and generate jobs. Right now,Search our wedding photo gallery for thousands of the best Rina di Montella 1520 pictures. Ontario has a flawed cost structure that makes dumping garbage less expensive than reusing and recycling. We can fix this by creating incentives for businesses to eliminate waste in the first place.

Right now we, as taxpayers, pay for the disposal of packaging, disposable products and hazardous materials. By shifting the cost of waste from property taxpayers onto industry, we can create a clear profit incentive for businesses to eliminate waste. Our entrepreneurs will have a market incentive to produce less wasteful products and offer services to reuse, repair and recycle.

The Liberal government's inaction on waste is costing Ontario money and jobs. It is a threat to our environment and the health of our communities.

First comes reality show, then comes baby, then comes marriage – well, commitment ceremony if you're Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.cheap mother of the bride dresses Here's the scoop…

The Wedding
“Kim Kardashian has found a good use for her old wedding dress. The reality TV star is getting hitched to Kanye West,” reported The Sun,2013 wedding dress before adding, “But it won't be official because she is not yet divorced from her hubby Kris Humphries.” Yeah, we were wondering how she'd overcome that small obstacle. Awkward! The pair aren't even due to face off in the divorce courts until 15 February!
But Kim and Kanye are sick and tired of hanging around so they've decided to have a commitment ceremony in lieu of a wedding before baby Kardashian-West shows up in July. Because Kim –who's already been married twice, found fame starring in an exotic home video and will endorse anything for the right price – is a traditional sort. Of course.Off the Shoulder cocktail dresses Never-been-married Kanye, on the other hand, is apparently traditional and has secured a friend's Dhs42 million Malibu mansion for the ceremony. “He'd have liked to marry Kim now they are having a baby, but with Kim still married to someone else, there is not much he can do. It won't be official like a wedding because Kanye wants that to be extra special when the time comes,” splashed The Sun before revealing the couple will “exchange vows and rings in front of close family and friends”. The couple will then wear the rings,Hot Sale Hot Lace Dresses but not on their wedding fingers. Interesting.

The Reception
And there's no point in having an all-expenses-paid faux wedding if you can't follow it up with a giant party, now is there? The couple has apparently booked a beachside mansion in Malibu for their reception,a-line dress which, along with the ceremony, won't be filmed for Kim's reality show, much to momager Kris Jenner's disgust.
Kanye, who's also fighting to keep Kim off-screen during her pregnancy, is reportedly pulling out all the stops to show Kim's estranged husband, Kris Humphries, that he can't stop them from celebrating, while Kim's looking into getting a custom-made designer gown to conceal her growing bump at the multi-million dollar bash. Good luck with that, Kimmie!

The Honeymoon
And, of course, every commitment ceremony needs a honeymoon. The Examiner reported, “Kanye has also arranged a mini honeymoon of sorts – a long weekend in Italy, where they believe they conceived their unborn child.” Oh no, does that mean we could be about to welcome a Rome Kardashian-West into T'Town? Since the birth of Kourtney K's baby, Penelope Scotland, we know the family can't be trusted to name their children sensibly.
In other baby news, it's looking like baby KW could be landing right around the same time as the most anticipated foetus in history. St James' Palace have just announced that Kate and William's royal bundle of joy is also due in July. Kim must be furious! If anyone can steal her baby's thunder it's Kate!

You're ready to say your "I do's" in front of your family and friends. Planning a memorable celebration of your commitment to each other doesn't mean you have to compromise on your commitment to the environment. It's possible to create the wedding of your dreams and stay "green," even in the cold months of winter.

Environmentally conscious weddings are a hot trend, faux fur wraps according to TheKnot.-com, a popular wedding-planning website. If your vision of the perfect wedding marries eco-friendly green with winter white, here are some tips and ideas to help you turn your vision into reality.

Friendly feasting
Great food is an essential part of any wedding, whether you're serving a sit-down dinner or just hors d'oeuvres and cocktails. When you're planning your menu, keep in mind how the foods you choose may affect the environment. For example, is that fish entree net caught, line caught or farmed?

A dish's environmental impact depends on several factors, including how the product was raised and harvested, how it was transported and how far it had to travel from the point of origin to the plate.Foral gown Choose locally grown products or those grown and harvested using sustainable practices.bari jay bridesmaid dresses

Reuse,Rina di Montella 1520 recycle and revel
Brides in bygone generations gladly wore their mother's wedding dress, but the practice fell out of vogue as more brides wanted their own unique look for their wedding day. The green movement has breathed new life into the practice, since reusing and recycling eliminates the need to use materials and energy to make something new. More brides are finding that recycling a wedding dress has other advantages, too. It's possible to achieve a great vintage look with a used wedding dress — whether it's one handed down from your mother or one you found in a secondhand clothing store. A new gown can cost thousands of dollars, long sleeves wedding dress while a repurposed dress can be purchased much more cheaply.

Wedding favor wonders
Sure, it's a cool idea and the groomsmen will likely use theirs often, but just how eco-friendly is that custom-printed beer cozy? Wedding favors are a way of thanking guests for sharing in your special day, but many popular items are made from less-than-eco-friendly materials.

Greener invitations
The invitation often is the first impression guests have of your wedding. While every bride wants invitations that will wow guests, keep in mind the cost — both monetary and environmental — of all that paper. Many eco-minded brides are switching to invitations made with recycled paper or, better yet, electronic invitations.

No raw materials are used to create e-vites, and what's more, you can find online services that not only help you create an e-vite, but send it and monitor responses — all online. Using such a service can help you keep better track of RSVPs.

There is the option of sending invitations printed on recycled paper with flower seeds embedded in the paper. Your guests can plant the invitation in their garden and remember your special occasion every time they see the beautiful flowers growing.

The little things that mean a lot
Some other steps that may seem small — like choosing locally grown, in-season flowers rather than out-of-season ones that must be imported — can make a big difference. Whether you opt to replace cut flower bouquets and centerpieces with artificial ones that can be reused, or choose acoustic music that requires no electricity to keep guests dancing, it's possible to find green options for almost every aspect of your wedding.

On Tuesday, or maybe it was Wednesday, October 2 or 3, some 1,500 Paratroopers Brigade officers gathered with their wives and girlfriends on the lawn at Kfar HaMaccabiah in Ramat-Gan. The atmosphere was celebratory. Veteran soldiers and new recruits met and patted each other on the back. It was great.

Evening came, and the IDF chief of staff, who also attended the event, asked not to address the soldiers, as "nothing is going on, and I have nothing to say." I was in charge of the evening's program as part of my reserve duty. "You have to say a few words," I told the chief of staff. "Talk about how our long arm will sever the enemy's arm."

"You are the long arm that will sever the enemy's arm," he said and walked off the stage as the paratroopers cheered.

The celebration took place in the first days of October 1973, and the chief of staff was David "Dado" Elazar. Three or four days later Israel was already engaged in the fierce and bloody battles of the Yom Kippur War, and Dado, as army chief, had to invest in that war the lives of some of those soldiers who were part of Israel's "long arm" – the same soldiers from the party in Ramat-Gan. For many of the paratroopers, that was the last party of their lives. Less than a week later they were dead.

Another example: July 12, 2006 was just another ordinary day in the life of Ehud Olmert as prime minister. In the late morning hours he was informed of an attack by Hezbollah along the border with Lebanon during which eight IDF soldiers were killed and two others were kidnapped. A few hours later, the State of Israel found itself involved up to the neck in a war, the results of which are disputed to this day.

Prepare for the worst

I'm using these examples, and there are many more, to drive home the point that in Micronesia, and perhaps even in Switzerland and Luxemburg, one can predict what the future will hold. An error committed in one of these countries will not necessarily lead to the loss of life or loss of sovereignty and independence.

But this is not true for this turbulent region of the Middle East, certainly not in the past year or two. We,faux fur wraps the Israelis, do not live on the edge of a volcano; we are inside the volcano, nearly touching the boiling lava that threatens our lives here. And outside, just a few meters from the boiling lava, birds are chirping,Foral gown the water level of Lake Kinneret is rising and people are wondering which dress Ninet Tayeb will wear on her wedding day.bari jay bridesmaid dresses

In this region even the wise cannot accurately predict the future. Therefore, we must all be prepared for the worst – that the religious MuslimRina di Montella 1520 world around us will overcome its internal disputes and rise up against the State of Israel, which it views as a "bone stuck in the throat"; as an arrogant, long sleeves wedding dress unnecessary country. This forecast borders on the apocalyptic, but we do not have the luxury of believing in the coming of the messiah or think that it enough to sing "Utzu Etza Vetufar" (meaning, "contrive a scheme and it will be foiled ").

In Israel, as opposed to many other countries, we do not know what tomorrow – or even today - will bring. We think we are voting for a solution to one small problem, and tomorrow we will find ourselves being led by someone who has to solve huge problems related to our very existence.

For the first time, the video depicting the asphyxiation of teenager Ashley Smith in a federal prison has been played in full in public.

Until Monday, when a five-member jury watched the 75-minute video at the coroner's inquest examining Ashley's Oct. 19, 2007, death at Kitchener's Grand Valley Institution for Women, only limited excerpts had been played, and only in court proceedings and a CBC documentary.

It is the first 15 minutes or so which are most shocking because what they document are the young woman's dying, as the pauses between her laboured breaths grew ever-long until they finally stopped.

The camera was then being operated by Valentino (Rudy) Burnett, a correctional officer who was temporarily working at Kitchener's Grand Valley Institution for Women.

Mr.Find the perfect china wholesale bridesmaid dresses photos and be inspired for your wedding. Burnett, who testified Monday, had been called in because staff at the prison were burned out – in part, probably, because Ashley was such a difficult inmate who sucked up institutional resources like a sponge.

The 19-year-old, who was institutionalized for much of her adolescence in the youth system in her native New Brunswick before being transferred to the federal adult system, had developed a dangerous habit of “tying up” – fashioning homemade ligatures, secreting them on her body, and then wrapping them around her neck.

She had done so again this fall morning, and when Mr. Burnett's camera first found her, was lying face down on the bare concrete floor of her cell in the segregation unit,Buy Fashion one shoulder wedding dresses with big discount! her body wedged between her metal bed, which was bolted down, and a wall of the dismal seven-foot by 10.5-foot cell that was her home.

She appeared to be wearing the heavy, hard-to-cut segregation “gown” – it is white and quilted, like a bad prison joke of a wedding dress — worn by those on suicide watch or given to self-injury.

Mr. Burnett, as an extra hand, was told to run the camera, standard protocol whenever guards entered an inmate's cell because such entries are deemed “use of force” incidents and have to be recorded.

But on this occasion, though at least four guards, at times five, in addition to Mr. Burnett had gathered outside Ashley's cell, they appeared paralyzed, and waited for almost 10 minutes before rushing in to cut off the ligature.

During those 10 minutes, the young woman's wheezing turned to gasping, the pauses between the tortured gasps lengthened, and the infrequent, irregular and ever-so-slight movements of her head stopped.

Though jurors have not yet heard the details, they have been told that the guards' orders abruptly changed in the weeks before Ashley died.

Where always before, they had rushed into her cell at the first sign of distress to remove the ligature or whatever weapon she was using to hurt herself, prison management had changed its tune and now wanted guards to enter Ashley's cell only if she had stopped breathing.

Several actually had been disciplined for going into her cell too soon, and for showing the teen too much human warmth. The taffeta 2013 prom dress with a strap of exquisite swarovski and pleating details in the chest part.

What the jurors haven't learned about yet — the inquest is, in effect, starting at the end of the story and only once all the evidence is in on the day of Ashley's death will it reverse gears and go back to the beginning — is the frequency with which Ashley tied up.

But it was occasionally as often as six times a day, usually at least once a day. It is reasonable to expect that some of the guards who were outside her cell that last morning — peering in through the meal slot of her door, trying to see enough of her to monitor her as Mr. Burnett taped through the window — had seen her in similar distress before.

Indeed, vessels in Ashley's face and eyes had burst, her face had gone mottled, during other tying up incidents. Yet always before her guards had gone in in time.Browse hundreds of beautiful bridal gown wedding dress and find the perfect fit for you!

It took one guard only a couple of minutes to become alarmed. “It's been long enough Ashley,” he can be heard saying on the video. “You need to take that off.I have always thought simple plus size wedding dresses with short sleeves give a blushing bride a demure air of elegance.”

Seconds later, he said, “Hey, sit up so you can come over so I can cut it off.”

More seconds passed and the guard asked, “Ashley, can you get it off yourself?”

About eight minutes later, five correctional officers entered the cell, remove the ligature, and marched out.

From that point, the guards grew frantic.

Within a minute, as Ashley failed to respond, they were back in her cell, one shouting for a nurse, others banging about noisily (clearly hoping to rouse the teen to consciousness), a female guard crying her name 11 times in a row.

Can clothes express feelings? To paraphrase Barack Obama himself: yes, they can. Inauguration day, like a wedding day or graduation ceremony,We are a professional wedding Hot dress company, embracing rich ... is an occasion when the intense emotion of the protagonists and the crowd is constrained by the formality of the occasion. Official portraits often end up a little stiff. The clothes Michelle Obama and her daughters are wearing ensure that joy, warmth and modernity, as well as solemnity and history, radiate from every photograph.

Michelle Obama's coat-dress is by Thom Browne. In the fashion world, Browne's name is most closely associated with the trend for men to wear their trousers cropped or rolled slightly short, with an exposed ankle, a look he pioneered in the middle of last decade and which quickly became ubiquitous among the hipster populations of New York, London and Berlin. Since expanding into womenswear, Browne has retained his maverick approach: a New York fashion week show last year began with suited models climbing out of pinstripe-lined coffins.I have always thought simple plus size wedding dresses with short sleeves give a blushing bride a demure air of elegance. In other words: Browne isn't a safe,The taffeta 2013 prom dress with a strap of exquisite swarovski and pleating details in the chest part. easy choice for a first lady.Find the perfect china wholesale bridesmaid dresses photos and be inspired for your wedding. Oscar de la Renta, he is not.

Few observers will know or care about Browne's edgy credentials, but the use of a man's necktie motif on the fabric sends a clear, snappy message about a no-nonsense and businesslike attitude. For this second-term inauguration, the first lady is dressed less as a newly-crowned homecoming queen and more as a woman who has her feet firmly under the White House desk. There have been reports that she wants to pull focus away from her wardrobe in the second term. Wearing a dress that references the tie – a totem not of fashion but of mens' business attire – is a neat way to silence any snippiness about the first lady playing the fashion plate.

Malia and Sasha prove once again their impeccable grasp of colour coordination. Delphinium blue and violet are complimentary shades without being matchy-matchy. These are a pleasing combination of colours, with visual links with their mother and grandma – Michelle's gloves match Malia's scarf, while Michelle's mother Marian wears an apricot scarf tucked into her camel coat, echoing Sasha's outfit. The overall effect is to create an image of harmony and togetherness without stifling the individuality of any member of the White House family.

If December is engagement month, than January and February are dress-shopping season,How can I make sure that a Off-Shoulder Wedding Dresses? right? Monique Lhuillier and Oscar de la Renta are taking advantage of a group of brand-new brides-to-be with wedding trunk shows at their Melrose Place boutiques.

First up is Lhuillier, who will be hosting women this Thursday, January 24th through Sunday, January 26th. According to Refinery29, if you buy a dress during the by-appointment-only sessions, you'll get an "exclusive discount" on purchases. Customers will also get an early crack at the designer's fall 2013 gowns.

Meanwhile, nearby dream wedding dress destination Oscar de la Renta will be having its own trunk show February 7th to the 9th. As at Lhuillier, slots are by-appointment-only and the label's newest gowns will be available.

The wedding circus is coming to town, complete with cotton candy, ball gown ring pops and zany photo booths.

A carnival reception theme is among the trends on tap at the upcoming Everett/Lynnwood Wedding Expo at Comcast Arena.

"It's fun. It brings out the kid in all of us," expo spokesman Brad Buckles said.

Of course, there will be plenty of dresses for brides to peruse and runway models sporting the latest fashions for all members of the wedding party. Information on entertainment, flowers, photography, honeymoons and all the other wedding essentials will be under one roof.

Color is big this year, Buckles said.

Flavor colors coordinate with ribbons, flowers and bridesmaid dresses.

"Whatever their creative fancy is, you can color match this," Buckles said.

Candy buffet options include giant dishes of lemon drops, licorice sticks and taffy.

Guests indulge their inner child and leave with a bag of candy.

Blue candy-stained tongues and green lips might also make for some fun pics behind the curtain in the photo booth. Other props include funny hats, glasses and mustaches.bridal gown wedding dress Oh, what people will do after slugging down a few drinks and few pounds of sugar.

"Photo booths have really taken off," said Howard Jensen, spokesman for the recent Seattle Wedding Show, an annual event at the Seattle convention center. "Pull the curtain and who knows what's going to happen."

The photo strip is a party favor to cherish. Guests leave a personalized message and photo for the wedding couple, and get to take home embarrassing pictures.

Cakes are still a big deal at weddings, mandarin collar dress but the toppers aren't strictly black and white since the legalization of same-sex marriage.

"It's the biggest conversation in the wedding industry,Pick-up gown" Buckles said. "It's fun to be one of the cities on the front lines."

So far this year, he said he has seen mostly female couples at his Washington wedding expos.

Traditionally, brides have dragged the grooms to the shows.

"With two grooms, who's going to drag who?" he said.
